Have you raced sprint cars?
I didn't see Alum 427 claiming anywhere that he could beat Sammy...
I'm gonna guess that the vaste majority of people here have never raced a sprint car, but we still have a right to our opinions
I'm a Sammy fan, & the first to admit I would NEVER have the balls to race one of those beasts!

Rev for the most part I agree with a lot of what you say. To add to that the easiest way to explain how dangerous a Winged 410 is, is to say there is only 1 thing in sports more dangerous than driving a Sprint Car and that is Riding a Bull. To say Sammie is a terrible driver is going way over the line and YES I have driven a 410 Sprint Car. Most people over the age of 45 dont have the reflexes to be competitive in a SPrint Car anymore. For Sammie to be driving a Sprint Car at this age is in and of itself a MAJOR FEAT. On top of that he is still competitive and has the abilities, still to this day WIN.
For someone to just talk shit about him having no idea what it takes to just get into one of those cars is clueless and has no right to shit on the man. Im not saying Sammie is a good person Im not saying that Sammie wouldnt think twice about crashing another driver because he has done that, but to put him down because of his age is just Wrong in so many ways. There aren't too many people I can think of that would be driving a SPrint Car at his age and he is still doing it and is still finding more success than most of the drvers half his age. How can anyone not respect that, let alone respect what he has done over his entire carreer
