Are Strawser and Winged speed the same person? I find it hard to believe that two people talk exactly like that. A earlier post said if the car owners and drivers started complaining they would change it. They dont seem to mind.
Been to Tri State for a Usac race and WoO race and they work on the track all night. But it doesnt slow down the program.

Why is that Knoxville can always complete their racing program without having to rework the track between races and other tracks can’t?

Stawser and his alter ego spouting stupidity as usual. Makes me wonder if he is watching the actual racing or just watching the lap times. Otherwise I don't know how anyone can not enjoy watching racing when the cars are running inches from the outside or the inside rail and everywhere inbetween - slicing and dicing all thtrough the field on a smooth racy track. No other track I know of in PA is producing multi-grooved, side by side, back and forth racing on a consistent basis like Port. Front running cars literally banging it off the outside guard rail! Who gives a shit about lap times? What makes it all the more remarkable is that this is a big 1/2+ mile track. You want a tacky hammer down track like Selinsgrove was Friday night, you get a high speed strung out parade around a low cushion with very little passing. This isn't the 80's and 90's. Todays cars are locked down and more even. The track needs to slick off and the cushion needs to be all the way up to get good racing and Port has nailed it. That's why they are getting so many cars and fans. Lincoln used to be my favorite central PA track but whatever they are doing there just isn't working lately. Has there even been a challenge for the race lead at Lincoln in any 410 feature this year?
As for Knoxville, I frequently watch the highlights and I'm usually pretty impressed by the racing there, but the opening night feature(the 1 that Brown won) looked like a bottom feeder parade on a used up track. The 360 feature looked like some great racing. That is why IMHO tracks should run the the headline division first. The WOO features this past weekend looked pretty good.

I go to Port between 2 and 5 times a year for the last 35 years Would like to go more but travel time and work get in the way (Im in NJ). I dont know about you but everytime Im there the racing is outstanding and the track has multiple grooves, with very fast competitive racing.
When I started going there they were still running drag rubberon the RR and kissing the outside wall with the RR tire to straighten out for the Straight.
I dont know what your looking at but racing at the Port at least when Im there is fabulous and is second to none. It is one of the BEST TRACKS I have ever went to

Here's a nice little stat for BStrawser26 and WingedSpeed: since racing started back up at Lincoln Speedway on Memorial Day, they've run 4 races for a total of 128 A-Main laps throughout that time and NOT one lead change!! All 4 drivers started on the pole and won!!
2020 Race Count:
Lincoln 4
Port Royal 3
BAPS 1

wow.. We have a winner.. nice stats.. I think that pretty much tells it all... I have been watching the races at Lncoln on line and I wondered where all this great racing they were describing was.. From what I've seen, when its wet, they line up on the bottom of turns one and two... when it gets dry they line up on the bottom of one and two.. finally, when it cleans off they are all over the place and it gets pretty good.. But i'm not really seeing all this side by side stuff Stawser and wing are talking about.... I think it looks like there is a bit of a personal agenda going on here.

I've often wondered that myself...but "Winged Speed" always denies it
hmmm....
If they actually are 2 different people, I wonder if they know each other?

Whoa....... first B strawser and now Winged Speed refusing to attend Port ...... That'll bring them to their knees.
|
That will make me all the more likely to attend knowing that there's a 0.0% chance that I'll be stuck sitting beside either one of those dough headed assholes. They can both stay home. The track wasn't perfect this weekend but it provided for some good racing.

You really are a fucking idiot aren't you? Logan Wagner was literally hitting the fence every single lap. I can handle a disagreement or difference in opinion but what you're spouting is 100% bullshit. They were on the fence all night both nights. Some guys ran the bottom but the track was very top dominant both nights.
