Kyle Marten at Luxemburg Speedway. I think he has two IRA wins and both came at their once-a-year visit to that track. Are we looking at drivers who have only one at one track, or who have been dominate at one track or the other?

In today's struggles to find sponsorship that will let teams run more than 1 night a week. How the heck can anyone call somebody a 1 hit wonder ? I know of a team that races weekly in pa on one of the big 1/2 mile tracks. He qualifies well, if the track stays heavy he can run with the bigger teams. But, as soon as the track slicks off they are doomed. Why ? Because they can't afford the tire bill. It's that simple. So saying someone is a 1 hit wonder in today's deal. No, teams just can just barely make it from week to week.

Sorry to sidetrack this discussion from "one track" to "one hit"....
Doing well at weekend races for an under funded team is quite an accomplishment :)
Actually not that sorry... listening to "96 Tears" one more time was worth it ;)

I think he's won enough at the Grove to avoid the label. He's also won a Tuscarora 50.

Besides Haubstadt which tracks that WoO runs at has Schatz NOT won at? Not meaning to hijack this thread.

Agreed. He's also won at Big Diamond and Trailway too. If he can ever figure out a way to stay out of other people's crashes while leading, he'll be on the winners list at BAPS as well. He is always fast there but has atrocious luck. He should have at least 3 or 4 wins there.

He was flying at the Friday night woo show at the grove. He, I think, was the fastest car on the track the last 10 laps.

I am totally amazed this thread has remained on one topic after almost 2 pages considering the first post doesn't even introduce a topic to discuss.
Ryan Atkins is only dominant at Tisdale motor speedway. Sorry but he has fenders. Heck everyone has fenders in Saskatchewan, except a few old grain trucks.
Those National tickets for sale are tempting me to be sick for two weeks.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

DO IT!
(But you can always buy tickets at the gate or from other fans in front of the track)

I said the same thing. I was glad to see Lance make history but at the same time, I wonder if the 21 would've been sitting on the frontstretch if there would've been a late caution. That thing was absolutely hooked up.

Hard to say.....Donny gave up a one minute plus lead each time the four yellows came out. Would have been more entertainig to see Dewease reel him in and pass him without all the cautions. And he very well may have.

Not true. Zearfoss ran incredibly well at the World Finals this past year. He would have likely won the Friday night show had his wing side panel not collapsed and folded over.

One minute? Holy shit! He must have been really flying to have a 3 lap lead over the field. I'm glad the outlaws put everyone back on the lead lap during the cautions.
