It ran good like the GB heads but they were a little heavier than the other heads out there.  That scared quite a few people.

The first thing out of Everybody's mouth whether it's engines, wings, wheels, or whatever is, "how much does it weigh."

The Baldwin Racing Engines LS410 weighed in at 331 pounds minus oil pump and mag.

Add 9 lbs. for the oil pump, approximately 3-4 lbs. for oil lines and fittings, 12 lbs. for the mag and ignition box, and 8 lbs. for the oil tank minus the 7 quarts of oil.

A World of Outlaw engine ready to bolt in the car WITH oil in the tank weighs 380 pounds.
