the only track I can see shutting down for this race would be Badlands / Kville...and perhaps Jackson?
tracks in this area are only 1.5 hours apart and run races on the same days all the time without losing their minds over it.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

It's early enough in the year that some tracks may not be ready to open. PA tracks are not going to close for this race. 2 points. Outlaws are at Knoxville for the national and 100 cars show up. 80 of those cars don't have a chance to win it yet they still show. Being that early in the year, i wonder if any platinum drivers would go ? I don't know what the penalties are if you go off the reservation ? They should chaange the name to World of Followers, because they sure as heck are not outlaws. I wonder what Hewitt would call them ? There's a word people use in front of cat, i could see Hewiit calling theem that. All stars, I hope they book a race to. Teams see that and i think you will see a large field.

the "world of not allowed" cars should NOT show up at this race...because any car other than the 15 will be humiliated by the "dirty air".
I am hoping my schedule allows me to be there

Didn't the Huset's deal teach anyone anything? When it sounds too good to be true, it often is. This is voodoo mathematics at it's "finest", pitched by questionable management.

Most of the outlaws make at least $80k per year in tow money plus point money, and that doesn’t include free pit passes. To give that up for the chance to win $100k with a purse that drops off heavily doesnt make much business sense.
And if the Outlaws just decided to let their teams run whenever, i doubt they’d have a 90 race schedule every year.

Gravel was wantin the WOO to get in on this as soon as it was announced. I believe it was a Fast / OSCS deal & thats what it ought to stay. Poor Boy Nationals has a nice ring too it, don't ya think ?

There isn't anything in dirt track racing that makes business sense when you look at cost/purse ration. Running the WOO tour costs what? 1/2 million or more? Maybe some of the budget teams can do it for less but the top teams I'm sure spend over a million. Not sure why anyone team does it other than the corporate sponsored nascar driver owned teams. I guess the others just want to be "outlaws."

What is the exact date for this race I would like to plan to attend,I agree it would be best with no sanction like the 50 at Port it should draw cars from all over .
I know I am getting old but I dont remember the race in August who won ?

April 27th and 28th are the dates for the races.
As for tracks shutting down, I imagine the local tracks will likely not compete against it as it's just unwise for car counts and the FAST/OSCS series have worked well thusfar with Cody Sommer. He did yield their largest fields in both 410s and 305s ever with the GLDN after all.

$25 online. Basically tries to encourage purchasing online in advance. I imagine the same will be applicable to this show regardless of the price. But My guesstimation would say $40-45 range and I think that's worth it.

What is rest of the format for this race? They have feature formats posted (kind of) but nothing else. If they're going to require teams to preregister and pay a registration fee they need to realease the entire format.
Also, having to pay a registration fee is ridiculous. I foresee this keeping a lot of teams away. And in reality the purse is not that great for 100,000 to win. The kings royal pays better for ever position except 1st place and they don't charge a registration fee or require teams to register months in advance. I don't see this event doing that well unless some things change.

He has a mandatory registration due no later than the beginning of April. So he will know how many cars are coming. If he doesn't have at least 50-60 cars he will most likely cancel the show. If he has that many cars, he can market the list if drivers which then should sell a lot of tickets. Really a smart way to go about it.
I just hope he pays some money to hire a guy to prep the track. It definitely improved but that is the most crucial part about this whole deal.

Questionable management? Based on what? They had some big issues there this year with the track and really inexpirience, but I don't think anybody can question what Cody has done for racing between Mansfield and the Gateway Dirt Nationals. Indy Indoors was a dud but shit at least he tried something outside the box.
