Go get 'em Brick, it's hard to pick on Lance, maybe one of the cleanest racers of all-time and that's how the Outlaws thought of him back in the day also...

You're a fucking jackass. Please go away. Anyone that takes delight in someone crashing better not be sitting near me.

Well said.

I instantly became a Fast Freddy Rahmer fan after watching some people cheer when he crashed at Port several years ago during Speedweek

Right. You're free to make a dumb comment, & others are free to "tear you a new one"

But it "always wasn't: , & no guarantee it "Always will be"..... lots of places have very little free speech

Yea, looked like great race from the video

Wish I could be 2 places at once, was in upstate New York for Grassroots music fest near Ithaca.... varied interests!

I was gonna go tonite but won't risk a 5 hr. drive for potential bad weather, especially when there's fun to be had right here

Lance didn't have the field covered he was just about to be passed, made a mistake (he's human) and stepped on it.  He never passed a car all night, on the other hand Z-man was terribly impressive.  Drivers made runs at him and he never blinked, it was good to see.  Up until then the Outlaws dominated and finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th which is hardly shabby on a one ONLY groove track.  We all know if there is a middle or bottom you likely won't beat Donny.  It is rather humorous how the Posse fans complain about the track UNLESS one of their own wins, they (some of them only, the cheerleaders, we all know who they are) are still as blind as ever.  Anyone mention Gravel got put back on a restart that he was about to put on cruise control, very late in the race, of course not, lmao....

We'll never know for sure, but my money would have been on the 69K getting back by Gravel. Anyone who has watched Lance in person the past two years would most likely agree that his achilles heel is start/restarts. Takes a lap or two for him to get going. Pitman got the jump on the initial start , but Lance was by him coming off 2 on the second lap and set sail. Up to the point of his jumping the cushion, he had a 2+second lead and was consistantly running 18.1 and18.2 second laps compared to the second fastest competitor (Pittman) @ an 18.4. Yes, Gravel got him on a restart, but it would have been entertaining to see the 69K run him down. Unfortunately we'll never know.

You're correct, Schatz does run the middle and bottom well. Nobody runs them (especially the bottom) better at the Grove than Dewease. Can still visualize Lance in the Hamilton 77 back in '02 slice thru the field from 13th using the bottom AND the middle, then pass the Dude on the outside rail coming off 2 for the win.

May have been a one groove track, but lots of slide jobs between Schatz and Gravel. Looked like they were at that dust bowl Eldora that everyone seems to rave about. Gravel got put back a row for jumping the start. Rules are rules.

The camera angle on the restart that caught Gravel jumping was a perfect angle. I knew the second they were on the gas that Gravel had timed his right foot just a heartbeat too early.....and he was early. Came across about three feet in front of the leader. I posted it on Dirtvision before the yellow came out. There was no doubt in my mind what had happened.

I was also happy with the outcome. Happy for Zearfoss for getting his first WoO win and happy for the Posse fans!  It's no different for us here in the Midwest when one of ours beats the Outlaws.

Yea Zearfoss did make the comment his car was stumbling on restarts. He also said he was hoping it wasn't going to do it again.  Zearfoss hit the go pedal and didn't go, Gravel did go, BUT officials didn't know that and gravel a penalty.  Winning takes luck at times also, Zearfoss was up on the wheel, glad to see him win.

What is the rule? Thought the leader dictated the start. Is the rule, start at some predesignated location  or go when the leader goes? If it's the latter and Zerfoss didn't go because of engine stumble, then clearly Gravel jumped the start because he was anticipating the start and not reacting to the forward acceleration of the 58.

Doesn't matter if the leader has his thumb up his ass or whatever.....hit the line ahead of the leader and that's jumping the start.....Gravel hit the line first!

Regardless of who you root for you can't really be upset at the outcome. Zearfoss held off the the best in the business in the 15 and one of the best the outlaws has to offer in the 5 to get his first WoO win. You've got to appreciate that as a race fan.

Only point i was making is that his car stumbled. The leader controls the restart. He deserved the win there is no question about that.

World of alsorans?  Tell your PA boys to travel, not to Lincoln or Port Royal, but travel to other places like Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, etc., and race.  See how good they do against the "regulars" at tracks in those states.  Love how the PA fans beat their chests when a Posse member wins, but are like crickets with numerous excuses when the "alsorans" win.  Just amazing.

PA Speedweek.....4 of the 9 shows were won by NON Posse.  Three of those were the same driver (Larson, if you forgot).  The 4th was won by Abreu in his FIRST apprearance at Selinsgrove. All the Posse "hot shoes" were racing.....excpet the 21.  He only goes to the Grove and Lincoln.

I can't wait for the excuses.....

Cubes is a great fisherman. He sticks with what works. Did the Posse just win an Outlaw show after getting beat around by travelers this year? Yup. So he uses the tried and true posting method of Posse chest pounding to see if can hook at least one poster.

Got another one.
