Was hoping to hook up with you at Joliet. Shawn and I were heading that way as long as I could get out of jury duty early enough. Sadly, jury duty lasted until late afternoon. So, I was not able to go. Looked very racey. Hope they put it on the schedule again next year. How was the crowd size? I have been there before, but only for the NHRA event next door.

They had a good size crowd. I'm assuming the WoO will be back. Are you planning on coming later this year when the IRA is there?

Very unlikely that time of year for me for mid-week events. My next race will likely be the Nationals. (or some of the earlier Iowa speedweek races. /??)

Popped into this place recently for a POWRI Midget show. A very impressive venue and one of the most comfortable for dirt track fans and I imagine the teams appreciate the pit area.
From what I saw of the crowd it was very good and I'd like to see it on the calendar as an annual fixture.
