Going to Jacksonville Il. Friday night for Powri Midget week and non wing sprints - should be a great show
I really hope Knoxville can get over 30 non wing cars Sat night, tough to imagine, but I'm hopeful

Agreed. Tough for me to imagine as well but apparently it's already been "confirmed" that there will be at least 32 Saturday night :P

last I checked, these aren't "pre-entry" type races as until you pay for your pit-pass, you aren't entered. And if I-80 is like every other track out there, the pit shack will open Friday afternoon a few hours before hot laps.
My best guess is that you will see the guys following USAC that are trying to win the point title and some others that will chase them out this way, others that will try without a wing for the first time ever, and others that race non-wing in the KS and MO area (WAR).
I wouldn't be surprised if some 305 guys take the wing off, at a 1/3 mile track a few of them could sneak into the feature.
