Anyone know where Dollansky is? I didn't see where he was at the Ironman 55 or the 360 Nationals. Either would make sense if he showed up to since he's raced at Knoxville all year so far and Sammy is there or he's the back to back winner of the Ironman race, but to show up at neither didn't make a lot of sense to me. Not a big deal to me, just curious I guess

He races almost at Knoxville only.  He has cut way back and there would be no reason to run 360, after all you have to come up with a motor for 1 show.  I just think for now anyway he wants to keep it cut back and is happy with once a week at Knoxville.

Has Big Game reached the end with both of these guys?  With Kinser leaving full time, is it time for the broom to sweep the Outlaws clean of all the non-producing veterans?  Steve knew it was his time, the others may have to be told, like it or not.

Interesting comment...Dollansky finished 5th in points in 2013 and had six wins.

At this point, not surprised they didn't run pevely since they haven't hit many WoO midwest shows this summer. He has never run 360k from what I can remember.

My interest at this point is what will they do after kville season is over...will they hit some shows or call it a season? Hopefully he gets back out there full time for 2015!

I like Dollansky but I tend to agree that I feel that he has lost his edge, yea he had a good points finish last year but how many hundreds of points was 5th place back. I think him running Knoxville and Husets is a good move to try and reserect his career he should still have some good years left.

If I was a betting man I'd guess that we'll see him at the Jerry Richert Sr. Memorial at Cedar Lake on September 6.  The Outlaws are at Spencer the following Friday (a race that Craig used to promote) and at Deer Creek the following night.  This is just my opinion but those races are pretty close to home.

Have not been running 360s,  Do not think he will run Cedar Lake.

You guys amaze me.  There are teams that there is a good relationship between owner and advertisers and drivers.  It has nothing to do with how many races have you won lately.  Steve wanted to quit last year but Tony asked him to race another year and advertiser stayed with him.  I think Sammy is probably one of the most honest people out there and owner advertisers know that and respect that.  If all the drivers that have trouble winning races were let go,  who would there be to race against.  Only 1 driver can win a race.  Why don:t you guys strap in and show them how.  You guys think that every car, engine, pit crew are all the same so it must be driver.  Every team is different.  Some teams do not have alot of money behind them as others.  Jeff Swindell blew up his only 410 engine in Cappy Clasic and is done for 410 nationals.  Sammy had to borrow(rent) an engine for 360 nationals.  Jac seems to have some real weak engines.  All of these guys do not have bunches of stuff laying around.  OK, you can now jump all over me for my opinion.

great post.

Steve has said as much in every interview I've heard.  Glad Tony talked him out of it (and at the same time, Steve and Dana are raking in the $$$$ on T-shirt sales one last year too).

Feel bad that Jeff Swindell won't be in the Nationals, loved watching him the 7tw run from 24th to 2nd a couple years there.

Sammy's 360 engine was "provided by" Parker Engines in Newton (I'm pretty sure it wasn't rented or borrowed, it's one of Al's engines).  Something is "off" with that team, but Sammy is one of the smartest mechanics/drivers ever.  If anyone can figure it out it will be him.

Jac - something just seems off with them, not sure if it's engines, chassis, set-up or what.  but bad TT buried him every night it seems like thus far.

Ummm I believe they meant running the 410 portion of the Richert Memorial. Both 360's and 410's are there for that show. It's a great show, come check it out sometime

No big deal, but KNIA radio said Sammys 360 engine was a Parker loaned to him by someone from TX or OK.  I know that people loan engines for a certain amount or say 1/3 of winnings.  I could be wrong.

4th in the biggest race of the year. I don't think he's lost that "edge" you claim he lost. Great week for the 7 Team.

Big Game: Send the 7 car west. Let Sammy get an early start on preparing for what will hopefully be next year's "don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out" tour.
