I'm not one to get too caught up in the winner's starting position debate. I think a good race can develop regardless if you know how to watch.

However, the average starting position for Outlaw winners in PA (6 races) this year is..........1.5

It's becoming more about pill draws and dash draws than anything else in PA this year.

Don't have facts to prove it but I'm thinking that "in PA" could be removed from that statement - thus making it a universal statement.

There's gotta be something to make the cars unequal. I just can't help but think different rubber would be a unequalizer.  But whadda I know.

The racing outside of PA has been very good. A guy might start on the front row and win, but that doesn't tell the entire story. Especially if he falls back and retakes the lead. Happens, true story.

The World of Outlaws events have been the best 410 racing in the country. Just not when they have come to Pennsylvania. Although, Friday at the Grove wasn't bad. And Saturday, it rained and really was difficult to pass at the end.

Lance won from the pole but he didn't lead every lap. Lucas Wolfle got the jump and the early lead and Lance passed him on lap 9. Schatz closed and made a race of it a the end, Lance had to fend off a slider attempt on the white flag lap. Passing was difficult but I wouldn't say the race was a snoozer. There were some position changes at the front and decent racing through the pack.

gators0849, perhaps you should call John Gibson and check.  I'm pretty certain that he gave a statistic Saturday night about how many of the Outlaws wins have come from what position.  Understandibly, the PA tracks draw more local drivers than any other speedways, so the numbers may be a bit off here.  Also, you really need to quit kissing outlaw butt and start paying attention to what is actually happening in the racing world right in your back yard.  Your disgusting lack of respect to the local driving community in Central PA is only surpassed by Bruce Ellis' actions toward the 358 & 360 series, and just not being able to remember who is in what car in any division.

Congrats to Lance!!  You should never count Dewease out when the Outlaws come to town, but I admit, I didn't think he had much of a chance this year.  300 career wins and many of them were big....now the third Central PA driver to win at least 300 sprint races....Rahmer, Kauffman, Dewease...

It's not kissing butt. I'm sorry if you feel giving credit where it is due is kissing butt. And I'm curious, what am I missing, or do you think I'm missing? My other question is how do I disrespect the 358 division?

I agree. Gators acts as though he is the only person that goes outside the state and watches sprint cars. I listen to his podcasts weekly , but sometimes it's hard to take how he thinks he's the know it all of racing outside of PA.. Been to more races than he ever has and I'm sure I know a hell of a lot more about it too just from listening to what he has to say.

Never professed to know everything. Never even hinted at that fact. Just doing my job to the best of my ability.

Not sure I get all the dislike for Elliott. His content is usually pretty good and he's paid to have an opinion on things. Anybody who puts out as much content on sprint cars as he does should be applauded for getting the sport out there a bit more.

I am not sure anyone picked Lance to win anything coming into last week.

He surely has been improving, but prior to walking in the gate on any of the nights, I wouldn't have bet $5 that he would have qualified for the A Main.

The cars are so closely matched that it takes aggressive driving to move up or even maintain a spot these days and I don't associate that type of driving with Lance.

Glad he got the win as that team has struggled on regular nights.

I get your point and I don't dislike his content because of his opinion. I dislike (some of) his content because of the way he shares his opinion.

Bruce doesn't announce the 358 and 360 races. Shawn Brouse does. What track are you at?

Calling..Calling......Mike Nelligan. Don't see him running his mouth here huh. I just thought it might be considerate to congratulate you and Donny Shatz on yet again another devastating loss certousy of The Pennsylvania Posse. What a way to spin out in turn four Shatz, wow good job. Could'nt see the 11k in a cloud  of smoke the whole way down the back? I think you could probably see that in Carlisle. Couldn't see the oil trail the whole way down the back? Are you blind or just that stupid? The 27 managed to avoid it as did the rest of the field. Should have restarted at the rear, not second. If not per the rule book just for plain stupidity. Got the officials  in your hip pocket and still can't beat the Pa Posse, pretty sad. Hey Nelligan....were you there with your fancy toy? Did you get a pic of the 14 sittin in VL? Did you get pic of the 15 spinning out like a moron? I know it your age it may be getting difficult to snap those pics. Maybe you and Steve Kinser can move into the same nursing home? There's an idea. How bout it. Shatz can come by and visit you guys, we alll know he needs the excersize. Hey Mike........predictions. Knoxville nats- Brian Brown. National Open- Pa Posse. WoO Champion- Darynn Pittman. You heard it here first goodnight ohh and of course.........................Take it easy.

Since all the stuff competing is identicle, why would anyone expect passing?  It's amazing EVERYONE doesn't finish where they start.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
