anyone think we will see another show like this pop up? It seems to me that MAVTV would be a good fit for a weekly show reporting on racing of all shapes and sizes. It would be really cool to see a dirt track specific show but Id take anything. Anyone else's thoughts? I think Tony Bokhoven would make a good host for a show like that.

And what the hell's wrong with a little wishful thinking? You got a problem with positive vibes, or what?

Very cool, it's always nice to have backup. It's one thing to have a disagreement with a heated exchange, but this guy was just being a mean spirited prick. And hey mod9fan, lets see you man up with a response, better yet a apology.

The future of dirt track coverage is on the internet. Matter of fact all one has to do is log onto Facebook and like the dirt track media groups and you'll receive a continuous barrage of video and articles. You can purchase internet PPV for the Outlaws and many of the tracks and big events throughout the country. We just had a choice last Saturday night between driving six hours to Knoxville to attend the final night or sitting in the man cave with beer and pizza. My son and I got out bellys full and half hammered in the comfort of my family room and didn't have to stay up all night driving home. Matter of fact it spoiled me to the point where I was questioning why I would even bother running around an infield with a camera every weekend. For me sitting on my butt eating pizza and downing cold beers (in other words relaxing) isn't something I even associate with going to the races. I had the Cushion broadcast running through a laptop hooked to the flat screen with speakers cranked up. It was almost like being there except I didn't have to stay up all night worrying about wayward deer.
It doesn't matter to me what the source of racing coverage and live racing is, whether it's a commercial channel on cable or satellite or a streaming website or video clips. Bottom line is we get 100x more dirt track coverage on the internet than we ever saw on television. I don't see a problem with that. ;)

Good try, Stan. Watching sprint cars on ANY kind of screen doesn't compare to live, & you know it

I agree that the interweb has done a better job with coverage than anything we've had before. That said all networks need to have some type of programming to sell ad space and with all the money Lucas oil spent on programming for SPEED network it would appear that money would need to find another home. Its just my hope that is maybe on MAVTV where they seem to already have a sprint car connection.

To often it is, but hey, it's OK to take em to task, right? I do feel guilty sometimes though, because like this guy, their often weak and hiding behind a computer screen.
