OK - Lets get some positive stuff going here. Post your funniest moment during the Worl Finals.

I have a good one albeit a little akward. Saturday night upon entering the men's room, I couldn't figure out what the laughter was about until I saw 4 teletubbies all standing in a row at the urinals (yes, with their backs to us). I gotta admit, that was something yo do not normally see anywhere!

Just my $.02 worth.

I thought that it was a bit odd that they had Teletubbies there as well. It was kind of funny. We weren't at the race this year, but there was a quick picture of them on the telecast.

No, he's not. Although I don't recall seeing them on the broadcast, there were clips with Dave Despain and the Teletubbies on Speed Center and Wind Tunnel last night. Also saw a clip of them giving a group congratulatory hug to Rick Eckert. Did anyone else notice the FVP logos just below their heads?

If I remember correctly they were in a section of stills sitting with Dave at the end of the broadcast. You know as they were signing off while running the credits.

Just wanted to be sure. There have been a couple of times at the nationals that I thought i saw the teletubbies at about 2:00 in the morning. But i guess that was just the beer, no shrooms involved there either.

all joking aside, how was the racing overall. Seemed to be a lot better racing from what i saw on TV than the previous years.

Aside from those who could have pulled into the infield stopping on the track and ruining a GREAT race, they were good, cleanand very competative. The wind certainly was not in our favor in the grandstands but hey, what do ya want, right? Where else can you watch everyone come together like that under one umbrella for a whole weekend? And the fun of stuff like this to boot? Yeah, I'm buying my tickets for next year!

All 3 classes had great racing and while I know it may meet with critism here, the Late Model race was the best one of the night. The race and the championship both really came down to the very end.

Actually the racing looked really good this year I thought. We went there for the show the previous two years and the racing was really follow the leader and the dust was horrible. It did look like there were a couple of camera shots where the track looked to be dusting up but overall I thought that the racing was actually pretty good, all things considered. Wish we would have gone this year.

It was dusty, yes I am still cleaning it out of my ears. But I have been to far worse. To me it is just something you deal with. After all, it IS a dirt track.

From Brian Brown's Press Release:..

Brian's Q&A

Ryan Lewis asks: What priority do you put in getting your partners on TV?

Brian answers: It's huge. We don't have a lot of TV coverage. When we do, the best way to
do it is to run up front. That's the best way to get on TV. We treat those TV races like they're gold. If we're having a rough night, desperate times call for desperate measures. Like this weekend, I grabbed Casey's and FVP decals and stuck them on the TeleTubbies. Sometimes you need to think outside the box! Those TeleTubbies probably had a better chance of being on TV than we did if we weren't running good!
