If Sheldon was going to hit the wall on the last lap and get passed I can't think of anyone more deserving to nab the win. A lot of today's fans don't realize how good he is in a Sprint Car.

Sheldon tried to knock the wall down all night. How many times did Gibson say "Sheldon in the wall" tonight. If he ever learns a little patience and risk vs reward he will be a WoO champ.

Sometimes I think Sheldon needs a crew guy to give him a signal for "you are way ahead and can stop knocking the wall down now" so he can run a tad more conservative when super aggressive isn't needed. Fun as hell to watch tho. And it was really neat to see Blaney get the win.

Also, no climbing uptop on the wing. Great to see. Going on top of the wing is the second dumbest thing in racing, next to doing donuts.

I thought the 10 looked a bit more square and upright than the regular 410 today. I just wrote it off as the paint scheme. Is the car really much different than today's latest designs?

Maybe, he will be a contender for years to come but it's hard to win a WOO title. I'd say he's in the top tier of WOO drivers right now. TBH, I think he's better than his old man ever was.

He was fine last night. That was his best shot and still ends up 2nd. That's better then a couple other times this year where he ended up in the back for being overly aggressive when it wasn't needed.
He'a had some of the shittiest luck at times this year too. Friday night at Attica wasn't the first time that sheer dumb luck costed him a win. He's a couple decisions and some randomness away from being right there with Brad for at least wins.

It is a cantilever suspension style car he and his brother have been playing with for years. Hard to explain but the springs/shocks sit horizontal along the middle frame rail. Hope that was somewhat helpful its kinda hard to explain and I probably spelled it wrong.
