Before I rant a bit I have seen some very good races there this year, really good.

I guess I'll sneak in before Strawberry man tonite.  This track is BRUTAL, slicker than my bathtub.  Looks it was last prepped 3 races ago, when it was good.  Don't tell me they have 90+ cars either, the track looks like 900 cars have raced on it tonite...

There was heavy rain in the area for much of the day so they had it sealed over in case we got hit. Can't blame them for that. I'd rather see racing in any form than a rainout. The track actually held up. 3 passes for the lead in the feature and Logan Wagner came from 20th to 5th. The best part however, was 2nd place finisher Dylan Cisney calling out Strawser in victory lane. Well done Dylan.

Cisney and Macri are your next two PA stars, both of them get better by the week it seems, love 'em......

Thanks for the Update on Conditions, as I said earlier I've seen a lot od good features there this year, All-Stars should be a blast.....

I spent last week saying Strawser was wrong.. But I'm changing my vote.  Port is nice and smooth... but just to slow this way. Like racing on ice, some of the slide jobs take two time zones.......   Best racing this weekend, so far (other than those insane guys in the midgets)  is Lincoln Speedway. Freddie, DD and the edge might be the best going in pa right now and they put on a show....   great job Lincoln.

Lincoln is great too. I wish I didn't have to choose between the 2 every Saturday. Bring on speedweek.

Typical response I'd expect from a do nothing loser like you. Yeah who cares what a guy who actually drives a sprint car and has won many races at several different tracks thinks? Let's take the word of the loser whose only  claim to fame is going to races since 1982 & being a loud mouth asshole on Hoseheads who posts the same general post 11 times a week about track prep at a track that he doesn't even go to. That's some fucked up logic but coming from you, that makes total sense. To be fair, no one ever accused you of being intelligent.

I agree. What's your point? It was a great race. I had fun tonight at Port Royal too. It's good being at the track enjoying the races with your friends.

Strawser, you win for dumbest comment from a moron on a race weekend, 2020.  Yeah, who cares what Cisney says, he only races sprint cars, wins at Port and oh by the way, has two Lincoln wins this year. DOH!! Crazy amount of passing in the feature from front to back.  The only thing I don't like is the all or nothing sliders.  Can't wait till Wednesday, should be yet another great race at Port. Strawboy, enjoy your recliner, where we all know you'll be hiding.

Doug Hammaker said it too. He won the 358 feature which was the best race of the night and was ran after the 410's and 305's.

I agree with the all or nothing sliders. A friend of mine and I were discussing that very thing tonight. Since the reconfiguration, the top is almost too good. Some guys make the bottom work here or there but 90% of the passing is done by those type of sliders. Standing at the bottom of the track looking up, it almost looks as if there's a very steep lip right against the fence in both corners but moreso in 1&2. I'd say that has something to do with it. Maybe a minor tweak to the banking would fix it?

The on going battle between the two tracks on track prep will never end.  The fans at both speedway's are always there. So maybe to all those that show up on a Saturday night they really don't care. Dylan of course liked the conditions. Kid is definitely finding his groove in central pa.

I wasn't either so won't get into the track condition tonight discussion. "That's kind of track he he likes." He has how many wins at Lincoln in just few trys and Lincoln is alway wet & tacky. What doesn't make sence about that?

Some say it at other times. As I said some where else I was not there Sat. night. A funny thing happened today at work. A local latemodel driver who has won at several tracks including Port came in. We often talk racing when he is there. He asked me if I was there Saturday. I said no. He was there as fan this week. Without knowing any of the crap that goes on here he was telling me how good the track was, how good the racing was and that they had changed something in turns one and two that he had wanted changed for a while. He also told how smart of a race Macri ran to win a good battle. I guess I will have to look for the highlights. As of now I only have Strawser's and an experienced driver's opinion. I am not sure which to believe.

Most Late Model drivers would rather see a paved track,  as most of them usually are by the time feature rolls around for them.

An observation after one set of hot-laps tonite.  Has the track even been cut into or is it too hard, dang.  Not a big sheeps foot fan but have they ever used one to open up the Cement Palace.  Having said that I have no clue if the racing will be great or lousy tonite, got my fingers crossed though.  Strawberry man, any thoughts, lol?
