if obama , as president, has no control over gas prices, then why did the libs blame bush every time gas prices went up.

ok, start your double talk babble now.

No, dumb ass's blamed Bush for the gas prices, and on both sides.

Tell me buzz, do you see any double talk in that reply? If you do let me know and I'll try to be a little clearer for the dumb ass's.

The buzz say's.. taxes are not what they are because of obama. he has been trying to raise them ever since he came into office.

Obama simple wants to put the tax levels for the rich back to where they were before Bush cut them in a time of war. Trickle down has never, and will not create jobs.

Some basic facts:

  • Obama has passed 25 separate tax cuts.
  • Obama’s stimulus package included $300 billion in middle class tax cuts — one of the largest in history.
  • The recent healthcare reform law includes tax credits and savings for small businesses and working people.
  • Unlike President Bush’s 2001 tax cuts, which went to the wealthiest 2.2%, President Obama’s tax cuts overwhelmingly benefit working and middle class families — 95% of all Americans.

Here are some of the new tax credits available through the Recovery Act alone that you may be eligible for:

  • The Making Work Pay tax credit – Ninety-five percent of working families are already receiving the Recovery Act’s Making Work Pay tax credit of $400 for an individual or $800 for married couples filing jointly in their 2009 paychecks – and will continue to see these benefits in 2010.
  • Tax credits for college expenses – Families and students are eligible for up to $2,500 in tax savings under the American Opportunity Credit as well as enhanced benefits under 529 college savings plans, which help families and students pay for college expenses.
  • The Homebuyers tax credit – Homebuyers can get a credit – up to $8,000 for first-time home buyers and up to $6,500 for upgrade homebuyers – for homes under contract by April 30, 2010 and purchased by June 30, 2010 under the Homebuyer tax credit. Over 1.7 million households have already taken advantage of the First Time Homebuyers tax credit.
  • Tax credits for energy efficient renovations – Taxpayers are eligible for up to $1,500 in tax credits for making energy-efficient improvements to their homes, such as adding insulation and installing energy efficient windows.
  • The vehicle sales tax deduction – Taxpayers can deduct the state and local sales taxes they paid for new vehicles purchased from Feb. 17, 2009 through Dec. 31, 2009 under the vehicle sales tax deduction.
  • Tax-free unemployment benefits – Thanks to the Recovery Act, individuals who received unemployment insurance in 2009 do not have to pay taxes on the first $2,400 of such earnings.

who is going to pay for all these giveaways? how is this reducing the deficit or creating jobs?

you will excuse me if i take the propaganda from the white house with a grain of salt.

there is so much BS in there that i can't even find a place to start.

obama calls the continuation of the bush tax rates "tax cuts".

those bush era tax cuts went to everyone, not just the rich.

the new health bill implements people having to buy mandated insurance plans that will cost them more than they are paying now and people will end up paying for some coverages that they will never use. there is also going to be a 2.6% medical devise tax among other taxes that are in the health bill. the savings for small business will come when they can drop the insurance for their employees and pay a lower cost for the fines.

never mind kenny.

it is clear you are thinking this is your fathers democratic party.

you keep posting obama talking points from the white house if it makes you feel better.

it is not the things obama has done that one can sink their teeth into. it is what he hasn't.

hasn't lowered real unemployment.

hasn't created net jobs

hasn't reduced the deficit

hasn't produced a budget

hasn't helped to establish a faith in the business comunity

hasn't united the country

these are all things he said he could and would do.

instead of trying to tackle the real problems obama just passed a stimulus that fed his friends and campaign donors with tax money. he invested money in companies run by liberal cronies that went BK.

he had his chance and he had full control of the government to do it with. he hasn't held up his part of the deal.

that is just on the economy. that doesn't even consider his foriegn policies (or lack of) or his social engineering.

10 to 1 you didn't even look at it, and who said I or my father was a Democrat?. Just because you follow a political party because daddy did, doesn't mean that awake and thinking individuals do the same....There you go again, talking crap without doing any home work.

U.S. households are facing an average tax increase of $3,446 in 2013 if Congress doesn’t avert the so-called fiscal cliff, the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center said Monday. About 88 percent of U.S. households would see their taxes increase in 2013, with a typical middle-income household facing a tax increase of about $2,000.

I guess Larson's folks didn't pay their fair share!

oh i looked at it.

you don't really expect people to sign on without question to information put out by the same people who are trying to get obama elected?

you do realize also that the white house puts out stories to the news media (media matters to be specific). then with out telling us where the stories come from, the media runs them. then in order to justify their position, the white house points to the media run stories and says the media agrees with them and used the planted stories to fact check themselves.

obama had to use fuzzy math and defer implementation of his health plan to try to make the numbers work. the CBO has come out already and is scoring the bill at more cost than originally estimated. IMAGINE THAT! and that is still without knowing what the actual costs will be.

the statement referring to your father's democratic party, is a figure of speech kenny. you are old enough to know that.

like i said you can keep posting white house propaganda, if it makes you feel better.

that is kind of like reading a book review written by its author.

obama is now telling us the economy was much worse than he first thought and he needs more time.

well wasn't he telling us when he went into office it was the worst economy in history since the great depression? if that is what he thought the economy was then, i don't see how he could have under estimated the severity of it. and underestimated it it so badly.

also didn't he tell us a year ago the economy was getting better and his policies were successful?

well if they were such a success, then why does he need more time to fix things.

he keeps saying we tried things his way and they worked. so if they worked, why is the economy so bad that he needs more time to fix it?

this guy is a joke.

No Leon, it's that they MAY be facing that increase, and it won't happen unless the reds make it happen. I read it yesterday, and it's not that simple; post the article Leon.

American households are facing an average tax increase of $3,446 in 2013, if Congress doesn’t avert the so-called fiscal cliff, the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center said in a study released today in Washington.

...........................ARE is only used by the right winged reports.

Getty Images

Households could face average $3,500 tax hit if Congress can't avoid 'fiscal cliff'.

The average tax increase will be $3,500 per household if the current tax policies expire, the report estimated.

It isn’t necessarily an all-or-nothing decision Congress confronts – it could choose to extend some of the tax provisions but terminate others – but it’s precisely the complexity of picking and choosing from the items on the menu that will make bargaining difficult as the days dwindle down to Dec. 31.

Like I said, it all depends on the reds. Do you really think that Romney and that bunch is on your team, really?

WASHINGTON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Ann Romney told a Nevada television station her biggest concern if her husband, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, becomes president was his "mental well-being."

In an interview Thursday with television station KTVN, Mrs. Romney was asked what her biggest worry was should Mitt Romney be elected to serve in the White House.

"I think my biggest concern obviously would just be for his mental well-being," she said. "I have all the confidence in the world in his ability, in his decisiveness, in his leadership skills, in his understanding of the economy. ... So for me I think it would just be the emotional part of it."

kenny, i have no concern about romney's mental fortitude, even though the position of president takes its toll on people.

just look at obama for example.

he couldn't remember if he was for or against gay marriage, until he realized he needed the gay vote.

he couldn't mentally come to a decision on immigration until he realized he need the illegal vote.

he can't seem to remember that he told us he would reduce the deficit by half in his first term. he has missed his mark by 200%.

hell kenny he couldn't remember how many states there were when he was campaigning the last time, and that was 4 years ago.

so like i said, romney's mental health is not an issue of concern for me.

on the other hand when you start nit-picking over phrases that each mean the same basic thing, it is your mental health that i worry about. Smile lol.

i don't care if you are a commie pinko ratfink, that still makes you better than the guy we have in the whitehouse!

you take care.
