Motels for Ada,

This list is based on the favored car owners choices. Parking , convenience, and most important, discounts!

George is looking into a discount with the Holiday Inn Express in Ada. The parking is good, and the owner is into racing. They have been aquainted for some time, so we'll know where we stand on discounts.

Either way, the Holiday Inn Express looks like it has the best reasonable features anyway. Here is their link-

Other motels-

Microtel- The price before any discount, is really good at $70 and up, here is the link

The other 2 choices have good points and bad points.

Quality Inn-$79 and up. These guys don't seem to give discounts, but the parking is okay and the service seems to be decent

Best Western Raintree- Very limited parking, rooms are okay. $87 and up. would be my last resort choice if I were to stay at a motel.

Directions from Oklahoma City-to Oil Center, Ok

Take I-40 east to exit 181

Take 177 south.

You'll go through Tecumseh, Brooksville, and Asher.

This highway turns into 3W. Stay on 3W and about 10 miles NW of Ada you should be close to a town called Oil Center

Oklahoma Sports Park is on your left.

Directions from Wichita Falls--to Oil Center, Ok (actual Location of the track)

I would go through Petrolia to Waurika and stay on hiway 70 to I-35. That's close to 75 miles

Then to the Davis exit, turning right, onto state hiway 77.

A few miles from there to hiway 7, turn right and follow that to the west side of Sulphur.

Take the Chickasaw Turnpike.

At the end of the Chickasaw Turnpike, go left for Ada.

Turn left on hiway 3, looking for 3W

Get on 3W, going NW, to Oil Center. 7-10 miles

You'll go through Union Hill and Bebee, and then you'll be by Oil Center

OSP will be on the right, and it will show up out of nowhere. Lots of trees.

About 130 miles one way

Once again, I will provide security for any cars left at the track.

They would be safe anyway in a town like Oil Center, but why take a chance? Saves me a motel room anyway.

Just to avoid any confusion.--- THE HAROLD LEEP JR MEMORIAL is still on for us at Oklahoma Sports Park this coming weekend. If the weather does not cooperate, I will still be committed to a rain date. There are simply too many people looking forward to this show.
