LetoffEarly...Just a little FYI, The knoxville nationals pay 6 figures I believe. The Front Row Challenge pays $50,000. The STN's (360 race) pays $10,000 or $20,000. The Mopar Million paid $1,000,000. The ASCS champion gets $50,000. These are just the random races I can think of. I haven't even mentioned the Kings Royal or other big races. None of these are 100% accurate by any means because they are off the top of my head but they are close.
JD: I respect your cars (well the chevy ones). The speeds I was guessing at are at the city. Now I'm sure the sprinters go just a liiiiiitle faster on those tracks you are talking about. Just a guess.
Here are the facts fellas...a hooked up 900hp sprint weighing 1200 lbs is just a little more extreme and fun to drive than a wheel spinning 900 hp 4 ton mod.

yep. all WoO races pay a min. of 10k to win. some even more. ascs regional races pay 1,500 towin - some more (2 n 3). national tour i believe pays 3.5 then 5 for 2 day shows. and 4 for 1 day shows. the Knoxville 360 Nationals pay 10k to the winner - with over 100k payed out overall. the 410 nationals payout is close or over 1 million total. the STN pay 20k to win. and last year if you took a challenge from the front to start ont he back - if you won you got i think it was 40 or 50k. the oskaloosa races are similar. there are other big races around the nation too. for winged 360's and 410's and non-wing of the same. as well as midgets.
All Stars, PA, California, Indiana i mean the list goes on and on - i'm a big fan of mods - but their popularity will never match the sprint cars. nor should they. but they are great - i like em, i like everything but mini stocks.

Was Cheese with you Saturday night??? I would have liked to have met both of you. I haven't been able to spend as long in the pits lately as I'd like to. I've been kept busy trying to get all the bugs out of the sound system. Maybe next Saturday.

Yes sir. "THE CHEESE" was there with me Saturday night. Him and Lee are usually there any time I race turnin wrenches and eatin burritos. lol. Couldn't ask for better help though. I blame/give credit to them for the success i've had in the last two years in a micro and for doing as good as I have in the two barrel the few times I have gotten to race.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys and gals. I was talking to Wescoe tonight and we were discussing how much fun we have on here. Thanks Dave for giving us all a place to get together and debate which class is better, who is faster, and how much we love our sport. I've met a lot of people on here that truly love racing as much as me and that is just cool.
