Still sitting around the $500 mark. We did get the right rear from Shawn Peterson tonight! Shawn had it bought already AND had it grooved and siped to help Robert out even just a little bit more! I thought that was really awesome of Shawn!
I also talked to one of Robert's friends tonight and Robert has no idea about this. It turned out that it was this friend of Robert's who posted here on this thread about the engine update. So, I am even more excited to give Robert his stuff.
His friend told me that Robert Bell will be racing his qualifying on Thursday. This means that I would like to be able to have all donations in by Wednesday so that we can present all this stuff to him, have him pick out tires he wants, and let him get them mounted to race on.
I look forward to meeting you all. Remember, I'm right on the corner of W Ash St and Lincoln with the street sign, a camper, and pop-up canopy.

Here is a little video of Robert Bell having a little problem with qualifying at Heartland Park Topeka at an Outlaw show.
If anyone needs the help Robert is the one, nice guy and has time for anyone as you can see by this video.

Maybe we could set up a time on Wednesday morning or something to meet up at Roberts hauler (havent arrived yet leaving in the a.m. he usually parks in the old Pamida lot) and surprise him with the money.

Thanks for everybody who helped out and supported this fund! Robert was so appreciative of everything. He had tears in his eyes when we presented him with the tires and money. He let me know that "Nobody has ever done something this nice for me." It was worth all the effort. It obviously would not have been what it was without everybody involved. Thank you guys so much for bringing a grown man to tears because you donated your hard-earned money to help someone not as fortunate. I know God was smiling down on all involved. It was an amazing experience that I wish all of you guys could've experienced. Thanks again for everything. Seeing fresh new Hoosiers on all 4 corners of his car tonight was perfect. You'll never know how much it meant to him.
