HEY strawser, i get real tired of your constant complaining and even trolling about track surfaces but i think i agree with you very much in this post. They wanted a pandemic, the thot the created one but it never materialized so they have fudged the numbers in an effort to redeem themselves and justify their actions.

Maybe the social distancing helped but truthfully, i was tought in kindergarten to cough into my elbow and wash my hands. It sure would be inyetesting to know how many covid deaths were cancer death's with a cold or heart attacks witha sniffle.

The whole thing is a world wide experiment on mass thought control and action manipulation. Be sure the note books are being filled and studied for another improved covid 2.0 coming soon.

I'm disappointed in you, Rod... frown

NY Times.   Lol and yes I am on the floor rolling and laughing.  They are and never have been a good source to get the truth.  The are a left wing and I am talking way far out left wing nut jobs that write for the times.

That clip has a video of Trump saying it...NO editorial comment needed. Did you watch it?

Do you think NYT hired an actor who looks exactly like Trump?

You believe what you want, probably because you share Trump's prejudiced & heartless attitude

I will be the first to admit, I could never be friends  with president Trump.  However, I don't have to like him personally to see he is doing a great job as our president.  He doesn't take any crap from anyone.  I like that.  He also got us out of a lot of bad deals previous presidents got us into.

I am not heartless.  Only using common sense.  I guess most don't understand sarcasm when they here it.  When asked the same question time and time again you too would be sarcastic with the lame stream media.

Now that is funny, before this virus broke we had the lowest unemployment rate in American history...no matter what nationality you are.   Not to mention the best economy in about 60 years.

Here is an article from two doctors in California that have talked to doctors all over the country.

There is also two videos that follow.  One is long and the other is rather short.  Very well done by these doctors.

Very interesting strawser.  You can see the intelligence and individual thinking based on actual truths in this article but cant admit to a good race even if the track isn't the way you prefer to see it.  Much more respect for you though in putting this out there.  We need these doctors to be publicized in more places and more pressure put on the idiots closing things down so we can get get back to arguing about track prep.

I'm originally from Trump's neck of the woods, NYC, & know sarcasm when I see it. Trump was serious

"asked the same question time & time again"??? NOBODY asked him "Do you recommend injecting disinfectants"

He's an idiot. If you believe him, you probably think professional "wrestling" is real....

Wow, this thread went from Knoxville to Eldora, to PPV revenue sharing, to heaven and hell and back with stops in China, the WHO and CDC with some personal freedoms protests thrown in for good measure.

So what does everyone think?  Is there a way for racing to find a path to get underway and we can agree about something?  Oh, wait a minute, even if we're on topic there's bound to be a pissing match about wing vs non-wing.  wink

Sorry Stan. I'd be glad to keep it about racing, but can't let Mr. Strawser go unanswered

I'd be happy to see him go back to griping about Port Royal

I have written this season off for myself as far as attending any races.  I am 68 and manage a health condition so even if they go back to racing at some point I don't want to get anywhere near the petri dishes they refer to as dirt track bathrooms or crowds.  Others can make their own decisions based on their age and availability of racing in their area.

Fortunately I've got other interests that I'm more passionate about than attending races.  Even when I go to the races I like to go in the pits and infield to take photos so I was never much of a grandstand person.  Some on here are directly involved in the racing as owners, crew, drivers, or associated with the tracks and it has been pretty hard on them.  I'm fortunate that I'm no longer so invested in the sport that it's the only thing I do all summer or this would be driving me crazy.  I feel for those who are going through racing withdrawal.

As far as all the back and forth arguments about the virus it really is only going to make them more frustrated with something that is out of their control.  No tracks are going to open before state and local governments allow it regardless of the individual opinions on this board.  The discussions have devolved into arguments and name calling but few on here have any influence on the final outcome.  I am still checking this forum but in the absence of any racing the arguing has caused me to back off and follow along more than I normally would.  No track owner wants to go head first into reopening and be held up in the national news as the cause of a regional outbreak.  They're working with their local governments and trying to come up with solutions and not wasting their time arguing about it online.  In my case I probably won't see another live race until this thing either dies out or a vaccine is developed due to my age and health circumstances.  I'm OK with that as I don't have any choice so no sense going apeshit about it.

agree 100% with your last paragraph especially with the working with local authorities and not wasting their time. Ultimately, all the banter back in forth is not going to make any difference on what is going to happen. I have 0 control in when racing will return and have pretty much written off a majority to all  of the season as well. If it returns I will be happy but until then I just have to find other things to occupy my time. The situation is out of anyone's control and I think that is the thing that upsets some people. I learned early in life I can only control what I do, not what the world does and the  world does not revolve around me. Some of this is a welcome change in some aspects with the only real negative for me is not being able to go to the races. Other than my parents not coming over to the house for health (in some ways is a great thing) and having to work from home, my life really is not effected because of this and if anything, I am saving money.

Wish you the best with your health and hope you stay safe. Hopefully eventually you can make it back to the track in the future.

I could careless about racing right now.

Get people back to work and it can be done safely!   Use masks and social distancing.   It can be done.

Right around 60% of the deaths in PA have happened in nursing homes.  That is very said and I pray for each and every family that has to go through an ordeal like that.  How many of those had pre-existing conditions?  How many deaths have had pre-exisiting conditions? I bet it is way above 90%.  They will not tell you those numbers.

Around 96 % of all the people that have gotten the virus have had a full recovery.

Time to get people back to work stop with all the other BS.

I think all career politians should be ousted.  If you have had more than 2 terms in Washington.  It is time for you to find something else to do.

I could never be friends with him.  However, he is the best president since Ronald Reagan.

Both Bushes - didn't have a backbone.

Clinton - I have many reason for this one it could take hours.

Obama - The worst of this bunch.  He was a do nothing president.  How many times can you move you line in the sand?
