Funny, funny, funny. Let's count how many of steve kinser wins, Donnie Schatz wins, came from starting up front. The ONLY series that has ever did it right was the BB mods. Pull a pill and line em up baby. Anyhow, hats off to the 69k team. Schatz had NO ONE in front of him either, in fact, he didn't pass anyone in the feature. Lance won by over 2 seconds, mite as well call that as arsh whoopin. Your watching a dream team that will be talked about forever.

Does anyone know if Ricky warner was in the house during the eastern swing ?????

All yr long top Woo drivers start up front, then when the silly dash thing don't work out, the Woo fans say not fair, HAHA. Think Lance ran down Gravel at Lincoln and the #15 car at Grove.

I think there is a chance the 69k would be at a bit of a disadvantage far outside PA because of lack of experience and notes on other tracks.

It would be really cool to take the top 4 Posse, outlaws, All stars and a few true outlaws, then fill the field with strong teams and find 4 tracks they have never raced at ever for a mini series.

The challenge was laid down last night. Let’s get the 69k to Knoxville and we’ll see what happens on more neutral turf.

Donnie Kreitz is in the HOF and runs his own speed shop.Lance Dewease is in the HOF and has his own shock business.

Davey Brown is in the HOF, builds his own engines and is hands on at 84 years old.  Davey has won more races and championships in more decades than anyone has or most likely ever will. If a modified or sprint car driver ran a car wrenched by Davey Brown, that driver most likely had his most successful years with Davey. All 3 of them have proven all they needed to prove and they have proven it to the people that matter, their peers. They don’t need to go to Knoxville or any other track to prove anything. RESPECT

Question, the official write up from last night's race on the WoO website shows a normal $10k to win payout. Doesn't a two day show pay $12k to win?......plus the $5k that Williams Grove put up for winning the Morgan Cup = a $17,000 win. Was that just a mistake?

They were announcing 17G all night on DV.

Was wondering the same thing.

The 69K debate reminds me of the Christ quote, summarizing as "I do not mind your Christ - it's his followers I disdain."

Congrats to Lance, Donnie, Davey and crew.

To the chest thumpers - let's see the boys hop off the porch and come to the Grand Daddy. What's there to lose?

I think that’s a great way to put it. I really respect Lance and Rahmer and the rest, It’s the rednecks who whine when they lose and chest thump when they win that make them hard to root for.

Exactly. We have a lot of fans in this area who can't just be happy their local guy won while keeping things in perspective. One victory against the WoO on home turf and they go crazy with stupid comments. Do I think the 69K is capable of going go Knoxville and doing well? I'd be a total fool if I said no but I also know they may struggle. If they show up and hit on something, they will do good but we have no way of knowing for sure how that will go. Heard one guy "guarantee" Lance will win Knoxville. That's just ridiculous.

If you want to talk about perspective at least give it proper context.  Dewease isn't some one trick pony with 1 or 2 outlaw wins.  He has more outlaw wins than all but a few of the current touring regulars.

Lance is an all time great. No doubt about it. But the illusion that they're just going to barnstorm Knoxville and dominate like they do at the 3 tracks that they race at all the time is stupid. If they hit on a set up...which with Davey Brown is a distinct possibility....then they're going to be tough but this is Knoxville. Even the National Open doesn't compare. You have to be all but perfect. One misstep and it's over. Perfection is a little hard to expect from a team who hasn't raced there in over 20 years and a driver who hasn't turned a lap there since 2013. I'm rooting for them as much as anyone. Nothing would make me happier than seeing them shock the world and win Knoxville but it's going to be a tough task. I'm sure the team would even agree with that. Winning a WoO race at a very unique track that everyone on that team knows better than anyone else in the world is hardly enough to guarantee a win at the toughest sprint car race on the planet.

We should get a better idea in the middle of June.  Sounds like they might be going out then.  Will be interesting at the very least.

Super impressed with Gio Scelzi's run last night. A really rough start coming from the C and ends up 7th in the A (coming all the way from 24th). Such a talent at 17 to consistently run in the top 10 wherever he goes. The sky is the limit and looking forward to see where he eventually ends up. He and Bernie really work well together.

Indeed.

I also roll my eyes at the rockheads who look at a comment on Twitter that was obviously set up to stir the pot, hype an event, or just be lighthearted in general, and then get their panties in an immediate twist.

Case in point, look at some of the responses to Larson's tweet earlier this week.

That kid is damn good. I was very impressed when he set the WoO-age record last year at the Grove. He wasnt at a home track or won by some fluke, he just simply drove a great race.

I also saw some highlights of Kofoid at Fremont from this weekend. If these two stay within the 410 ranks for years to come there's quite a lot these these two could accomplish.

That would be pretty cool, but will never happen and of course it wouldn't settle anything. But it would be cool if there was a "race of champions" sort of deal maybe at World Finals, or something that was like a 20 lap dash between the top 3 Outlaws and All Stars and then the Central PA champion, Knoxville Champion, a CA guy, Oh guy, etc.

I am with you on this. Although it would be hard to find 4 tracks none of them had raced at before. I just don't think Knoxville can be a measuring stick and I don't get why it is considered "neutral ground". The Outlaws visit Knoxville 3x a year (I think). IMO, neutral ground is Nashville coming up. A track no one has ever raced and everyone will be figuring out on the fly.

Porch dwellers, we've been known...

To race in our back yard all year long.

Porch dwellers, at the Grove'...

Cookin' up a possum on the stove.

Porch  dwellers, all we need...

Is a race in our backyard to succeed.

Porch dwellers, doin' fine...

As long as we never cross the state line.

Typically people who criticize the posse as porch dwellers are just jealous because they have no local racing scene to support.  Would you happen to fall into that category?
