I am sure that it was the 1975 Enid race, it shows Norman's #17 car and that was the last race that he ran that car. Larry Coleman was the driver.

I checked my NCRA yearbook and ther were 92 supers that day at Enid and they ran the late models also. I remember that it was a very long day, the results were:
1 Emmett Hahn,2 Frank Lies, 3 Harold Leep, 4 Derrill Brazea, 5 Walt McWhorter, 6 AJ Little, 7 Ted Bacon, 8 Mike Peters, 9 James Eubanks, 10 Roy Bryant.
Frankie won the championship by 10 points over Emmett. We were happy with an 8th place finish, Mike started 23rd and was still on the lead lap at the finish. That was the race that we had a borrowed V-8 engine from Jerry Wilson in the #71 car. it was supposed to have the Ford V-8 with the Gurney-Weslake heads, but it burnt a valve Tuesday night at practice at the 81 speedway. I think that was the last race that Ray Crawford drove the Plunkett car.
