When the big money is on the line, it has to be Schatz. Anyone else win more than $1,000,000 at Knoxville?
|
I haven't done the math but I wouldn't be surprised if both Steve Kinser and Lasoski have both won more than $1 million at Knoxville.
Remember they cashed checks even when they didn't win the race....
I'm pretty sure all 4 of The Dude's Nats wins paid $100k or more so that leaves $600k for the other 95 wins and all the times he didn't win.

Anyone besides Kyle Larson is just funny right now. F word Freddie might make the top 5
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

He may not be the most popular but Schatz is still easily the best. If Larson raced sprints fulltime, I think he'd be up there. Gotta give honorable mentions to Pittman for leading the WOO points and TK for the WOO wins he's racked up.
Rahmer? There's 3 other drivers in central PA with more wins and 3 that are tied with him. He doesn't have any big wins, no way is he top 10(top 20 maybe). He's having a solid year and an impressive streak of top 10's but to say he is the best is delusional. That's like saying that Cal Ripken is the greatest ever baseball player because of the ironman streak. If anyone from PA belongs in the discussion it's Deitrich. He's got 6 wins- 1 WOO, 1 All-Star and a 10G to win speedweek race. Hodnett is one of the best and as always steps it up to give Donny competition when the WOO is at the Grove.
