How about Davey Heskin... does all his own maintenance has never had a new motor, never had a paid crew chief, never had a paid pr person considers 11th in points at Knoxville a "dissapointing year" always a contender with the IRA and to top it off 8th at the nationals.

The one of him flipping all by himself?

Just kidding, haha. I know he's a keeper, don't yell at me.

Still want to see him at Nationals this year.

Wow... yet another interesting thread that meanders its way from respectable topic to utter stupidity and back and forth a few more times. It happens on message boards, right? Say whatever you feel... darn the consequences. We're all hidden and immune, after all.

OK...

Kyle Larson and Brady Bacon are my easy 2 picks and then it gets complicated.

Darrah seems an easy choice but he didn't wow any of the Attica folks and bumped a few folks at Merced... so he must be a nobody. I read it here, so that makes it true.

Kevin Swindell has as much talent as any I've seen but I agree with the line someone posted about he needs a ride & to stick with it. I don't know what he's trying to accomplish. I like the way Bryan Clauson handled Nascar rejection: he went racing and won and opened eyes all over again. I couldn't possibly handle not running... not sure what it does to Kevin. Maybe he's working pit lane with a helmet bag every weekend. I've never been a fan of that method either. Open eyes with your performance, not your salesmanship. There aren't enough rides and sponsors anymore. He might surprise us all with a doozy of a ride sometime soon. Who knows.

Kevin, to the person that says he hasn't done squat in a 410, does have a WoO win. An awful lot of good racers don't, btw. Experienced and young drivers alike.

I've seen Dover look good and not so good. Yes, in person. He bends a lot of cars... any of you paying attention to that? (awaiting wrath of Doverites... and not caring) That's fine, you don't go from kid/rookie to Big 3 overnight and without bending a few. I just think the positivity on him was a bit much. Maybe a lot of Nebraska posters. Rock on.

Lucas Wolfe. Maybe... I like the experience he's gained but is he as talented as the above? I haven't seen it personally.

Kraig Kinser. Who knows? There was disaster written all over last year with that crew setup (seriously... a joke) and it happened. He was awfully good prior to "the big time". Hard to explain him today vs. a few years back.

Just opinions.

I dont think Kyle Larson has even begun to build (or camp out) in his "porch".

Believe me, no one wants Larson to be at this years Knoxville Nationals more than Kyle himself.

What about Koby Barksdale from Norman OK? He's a pretty good young shoe around the OK, KS, TX areas at just 20 years old. He's been racing for 14 years moved up to sprint cars with ASCS when he was 13 from the micro ranks. I'n 08 at an NCRA event at Dodge City he came off the back and won't the race on the top and made it look easy. The kid just needs a break. He's racing on a family ride him and his dad. Rumor is he's gonna run the ASCS sooner region with sight of the championship. He's also raced some of the TNT non-wing sprint bandit shows. Ran the one at OKC's State Fair Speedway (R.I.P) wit his 360 against the big boys and ran 4th. Keep an eye out for this kid. He will be upcoming. He just needs that backing that all these other kids listed has got.
