Yaaaaaaawnnnnnnn.
Anyway, about a week after Haudenschild takes the big cash out of Vegas at the Silver State Shootout, I jumped on I-40 to cruise to Texas for some action at the Devil's Bowl. Well, anyway, I stopped at that Meteor Crater in the desert outside of Flagstaff.
More a fan of Hunter S. Thompson than Stephen Hawking. Not really all that into Space Exploration or the Astrological studies, but I stop anyway just to check it out.
I was kinda impressed with the deal though. If you ever get the chance-just to say you had 'Been-There, Done-That' and got some memorable kitschy souvenir that you an talk about in your living room with guests......visit that "big damn hole."
I'm sure it has a web site...Google® it or something....

hey I've been there...........that place is perplexing. strange..........but in a good way.
yes Hunter S. Thompson I'm sure visited it and may have even been messed up enough to flashback and see the meteor coming again. That was probably where fear came from for Fear and Loathing.

Yo' Calendar, I don't partake as much anymore but know that I can simply put a few lines out and the cheerleaders will go crazy, not as much fun as it used to be though, you're right. I've never waivered in what I put on here about the Posse and that's where it gets ironic. The best regulars, the most regulars, the best Outlaw shows are at the Grove, Freddie is one of my all-time fav's, Lincoln is as good a weekly show as anywhere in the country but just a hiar behind Knoxville. The compliments get over shadowed by the stupidity of a few who just don't get it or don't get out enough, some things will never change. Have a good weekend, I'm gonna have a GREAT one, Take It Easy.....
