If you go to Google Trends, you can find the most searched items from any day....on May 26, 2010 the 13th most searched topic was "Jesse Hockett"....the 13th....for the entire day, on the entire World Wide Web (on Google at least)....weird how its 13th. Keep on the gas Jess!

I believe Jack will be at the Eagle Nationals tonight and tomorrow, with the #77! Don't know if he's pacing the field or not. Jesse's mother, Connie will also be in attendance! Go get 'em boys!

I am not familiar with the procedure to be considered for induction to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame but here in Kansas City to be considered for the Central Auto Racing Boosters (C.A.R.B.) Hall of Fame among the other eligible people it all starts with a NOMINATION !
A nomination must come in the form of documented facts that would qualify the person as well as : as much information as possible and also photographs.
Contact someone at the NSCHoF and find out how it should be written up and to whom it should be submitted.
We,too,believe that Jesse belongs in the Hall of Fame but we are not eligible to vote upon the nominees.
Good Luck on getting Jesse nominated.

I spoke with Bob Baker at the NSCHoF and he has to have a biography sent to him before Labor Day for the committee to vote on the next ballot. Bill W is already in the process. After that its up to the 70 some odd member to vote him in. I certainly hope he gets in....like most people say, should be automatic. Now....how do we do the C.A.R.B. ??

Sure was cool hearing Scotty Cook announcing the TNT, when Rob Hockett was leading the first couple laps of the qualifier....had goosebumps the whole time. Great job Rob, great work Scotty! Any how about ole Bobby Ballou?! We tend to give Ballou some shit here and there, but for what he's said and done, and to honor Jesse....can't say thanks enough. GREAT JOB ROBERT! Stay on the gas my friend!

This weekend is going to be really tough, strange, sad, and a whole lot of other emotions....And its so weird that its going to be EXACTLY one month to the day....for sprint car fans, its going to be like 9/11, we're going to remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when we heard the news....and we're going to be at one of Jesse's favorite tracks, and the 2nd to last place he ran, and won....Love you Jesse, love you Daniel. Can't wait to see your magic on Saturday....wow....i'm in tears already.....mmmgghh...tough.

Was tough listening to Jack on Racin Boys....is this really real? Just hope the alarm goes off (and i don't hit snooze 10 times) and I wake up to May 26th, 2010 at 10am and give Jess a call in the afternoon
