I'm just curious, but aren't ALL of the posse drivers listed in that poll ranked ahead of the drivers from where MSPN is from? .............in fact, are there any drivers listed from MSPN land? Like I said, just curious. Take it easy!!!
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

When the Posse fans want to talk about crap I like to bring up what the facts really are, not the speculation. They need to know their place and that's mid pack or worse, call it spin, I call it reality. Take It Easy....
PS Who cares what the financial numbers say, I care about the results, the one thing the Posse fan Does Not want to acknowledge....

MSPN.......I've kinda always agreed with most of what you say........even about PA Posse. But your post there takes an opinion of yours out of the ballpark. I've always disagreed with BRR and others that the outlaws suck. But in your post there you say the PA Posse cars suck. They don't suck. Cubic posted the top 25 410 drivers and where the PA Posse guys are........they belong there. They are badass drivers. The argument could be made that they never get off the porch and all........but after reading so much of you and PA Posse fans bickering I'll have to agree with them on at least 1 thing.
Why would Rahmer, Esh, or Dewease "get off the porch"? These guys have all the racing they could ever want right there in Central PA. close to 100 nights of racing from what I've seen posted. They really could MAKE MORE MONEY racing right there in Central PA because they don't have the expense of going all over the place........but yet run for good purse most of the year. I'm sure thats not just it as well. Most probably have friends or family or jobs and whatnot right there in Central PA.....most probably enjoy the comaraderie of racing against each other on those tracks because they know they really are the best on those tracks. I bet they even enjoy the hell out of the WoO comin to town.........thats the best of the best and the PA Posse is the best on those tracks.
In the end........you guys ALL have it wrong. PA isn't better than the WoO and the WoO isn't better than the PA Posse. I think in Central PA the PA Posse has the edge whereas the WoO has the edge everywhere else. WoO drivers aren't bullshitin when they say PA has by far the toughest competition they face all year. Out of all so-called local drivers and tracks and all that...........the PA Posse and Central PA is by far the best. The bickering some of you do is all good and well (even entertaining)........it's the best rivalry in Sprint car Racing...........but you guys doin it every single day is taking it way to far. I can see why BRR and co. knock the outlaws......it's the rivals to their drivers.........but MSPN do you do it just to shut em up or do you really have somthin against the Posse? You fellas should at least stop doin this arguing every day........save it for when the 2 are going up against each other........then argue about it for a week.
BTW no offense intended towards anybody.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

So if the Posse is "mid pack or worse". Where does that leave the rest of the country? "B" main or trailer?

The Posse debate goes back many years, even before this place existed and the man who invented this place was one of the first to hear about it back in '96.
The Hall of Fame voting is irrelevant and is done by people who don't see enough racing to legitimately have any say in the voting, most cover local racing and until the full list of names is ever revealed it will carry NO weight in my book and many others. Winning 25 times locally is not anywhere as tough as winning near that many on the road, with the best in the business and these people far too often look at those numbers, not the competition.
OKC, you have no idea what this debate is all about and when you something as stupid as the Posse has the edge in Central PA it proves it. They have an edge at one track only and it's the track with the edge, not the drivers. This is proven at every stop in the area and has been for years. Bill W did a recent post on the record at Lincoln where Posse fans say the Outlaws are 'afraid' to race because Fred won the last one there. Overall I think it was 28 - 4 for the Outlaws so the numbers really speak volumes. Even the Grove in it's history is not far from the 80% mark in the Outlaws favor.
I have spoken to many, many Posse fans who actually believe they are the best and regularly beat the Outlaws and it was this kind of fan that had me look into things a long time ago. The results surprised me because they were the opposite of what I was told and I started to have fun with them.
The day of the Posse big three is over, they had the best drivers and the most money and they dominated Central PA. The only big money team left is Freddie's and maybe he'll dominate them this year, time will tell. It is actually refreshing to see the Hammer step up his game and the Darrah kid might be the next star, the area needs one. Lucas Wolfe looked like he was headed that way and maybe still will, he is certainly one of the smoothest, best young drivers I've seen in years. I still think that Fred, Lance and Greg will win more than their share this year, unless the injury bug hits, like it has already, again, argghhhh.
I have lots of respect for the Posse drivers but nowhere near as much for the Posse fan, especially the ignorant ones and there are many of them around. They take away from the passionate, knowledgable fan (the majority, thankfully) who understands where the talent lies and enjoys the Outlaws coming to town. They know the best locals in the country are now facing the best travellers and it's gonna be a barn burner. I wish every sprint fan in the country could experience an Outlaw weekend in PA, expecially the Grove, I doubt there is a more exciting stop in the country. Good vs. evil, them vs. US, is on everyone's mind and the place is electric and if there were no Outlaws coming to PA the season would be much more boring than they'll ever know. The visits are spread out enough that it's recharge the battery time in May, July and Sept and hopefully it stays this way for some time. Take It Easy...
PS OKC, I never said they suck, another error in your post, I said that in Florida they were what they were and they are like that every time they leave the Grove to compete against them. It might change this year but you can look it up at Grandview and the Port the other places they've raced against each other in Central PA in the last decade, the numbers don't lie, ask Nick Bakay.....

Preach on Brother!
Not inducting Keith Kauffman in the hall unitl 4 years past his his 50th B-Day was a miss step by those "in the know". What took so long? They can make amends by seeing Danny Smith in Class of '08.

Cubic, don't get me wrong. I think the Hall of Fame is WONDERFUL and Tom, Craig and the gang there do a GREAT job preserving the past and the many other things they do, year 'round. I just never got that pole and have talked to people who vote and don't see anywhere near what they should to have a valid opinion in my books.
Keith Kauffman in a posed, parking lot picture was the first shot I ever took in this sport. He was driving the 2nd best looking car of all-time in my books the Leon Wintermeyer LEW1, man that red was beautiful. Take It Easy....
PS Cubic, it's time to release who votes on that list so comments can be directed to those that need 'em most, lol....

Poll seems pretty fair to me. The Posse wins more Outlaw shows each year than a lot of the Outlaws themselves...on top of winning a bunch more starting from twelfth against "Outlaw caliber" local race teams weekly. In fact it's probably the other way around when the Outlaws come to town... most of them wish they were Posse caliber...lol. The C-main has looked pretty stout in recent years. If they even bother to stick around long enough to run it...lol.

Those Outlaw caliber teams you speak of don't make the A at many Outlaw shows as some of your big dogs didn't do in Florida and won't at other Outlaw shows they dare to run this year. The win from the twelve spot is usually helped greatly by the cautions, ask Fred. Take It Easy....

Dang BRR, you had one decent race and you got lucky with a caution and rain. The podium had two Outlaw drivers on it, so what's the big deal? I can do you one better as per usual. Port Royal afew years back, had two Posse cars runnin' when the checkered flag flew, lmao, in your own backyard. You I think were watching on the computer where you do most of your racing, lol.
I speak of facts and you bring out the Hannity moron card with the spin and flip flop talk, the numbers speak for themselves and Florida was a total embarassment AGAIN like everything else Posse related when not at the Grove. Let it go, deal with it and come up with a better angle or has your brain been too wasted with the years of abuse, it sure looks like it with these silly posts. Take It Easy....

yeah, your pets love racing a split field, they spent years avoiding the POSSE competition by cherrypicking a late model track on Saturday nights...thanks for the confirmation.

Heck they were 28 and 4 at Lincoln, did you want them to continue that thrashing, lol?
As for the outing, anyone even remotely connected to racing knew about traction control. I am not surprised that a cheerleader like youself didn't know, you can't learn much from a keyboard though, soooo. Spend some time with the racers and not the cheerleaders and learn a wee bit, education isn't a bad thing, lol. Take It Easy....

One track only huh?
Read it and weep. BTW, when looking at the results through the years, I was hard pressed to find more than a few wins by a local anywhere else in the country. The wins by locals were even more rare when they left their porch and ran with the WoO. Say like, up and down the west coast or from Knoxville to Husets or Sedalia...
Sorry, but I only had results through 2002...

BRR, more lying from the biggest on this board. I knew very early on what was happening and NEVER denied it you fool. If you ask Rohan I talked to him about it a few times and passed on info that was never shared with you or the rest in good faith I might add and it was. Once again, you wouldn't have a clue about anything behind the scenes in sprint car racing because most of your terribly limited knowledge comes from a computer, how pathetic. Oh, and the stats, they are what I humble you with in this forum on a daily basis, wake up fool, lol
The Posse has beaten the Outlaws more than anyone and one of the reasons is that they have more cars to do it with and a heckuva lot more racing to be prepared. Something of note though, Freddie started racing sprints full-time in '86 and took until '98 to beat them for the first time and Lance first raced the Outlaws in '85 and took until the '94 preliminary night of the National Open to stand in Victory Lane. These are most certainly two Hall of Famers and Champions in their own right but it never came easy to them when facing the best in the bizness. Take It Easy....
