Don't take this the wrong way because, I know what you said, you know what you said and anyone at a second grade reading level knows what you said.  But arguing with this guy is a total waste of time.  Do you notice that most on here don't even respond to him?  He will keep spewing the same bullshit over and over again, he hears (or reads) what he wants.  It really is best to ignore him.  And if you try to argue with him, it kind of shows your intelligence (no offense).  I wish everyone would ignore him so he would go away but a select few still respond to him.  Also if you didn't know, his alias is wingedspeed.  So it would be best to treat him the same.

Taking your advice starting now. Arguing with someone who thinks their never wrong is a fools game and I'm totally guilty of that.

You should talk.....I proved you WRONG!  What you said and now you will not own up to it....even though I have reposted your words.

You may have reposted his words but you don't UNDERSTAND them! He didn't say $28,000 to the winner of the B. He said $28,000 should be split up between lower finishers.... duh

Racing isnt about the money but it takes money to go racing. Lower class usually doesnt show much profit.

These top heavy $100,000+ to win races are killing the local and regional teams. Imagine what it would be like to pay $25,000 to win , and spread the rest of the $75,000 back throughout the A & B main fields. You could add $2000 onto every other starter in the A-main ($46,000) and then have $28,000 left to pay from 5th on back in the B-main.

I've been thinking this and saying this forever.  This is without a doubt the way to go.  IMO the huge first place purse will keep 'regular' drivers away.  They know they have no shot at winning and they also know it may draw in other drivers like Kyle Larson who do have a chance at winning, therefore, limiting their chance to even qualify.

For example, imo, the Tuscarora 50 does not need to by 51, 52, 53....60 to win.  It can be $40k or $50k and spread the rest out over the field.  I can't think of anyone that would say "no, I'm not going because it's only 40 to win instead of 50"

And sorry if this has been talked about in the previous 4 pages, but Brock Zearfoss has announced his intentions to run WoO in 2024.  Serious question, do you see anybody, anybody at all, going from WoO to High Limit as a contracted driver besides Sweet and Kahne?  I don't.  Outlaw drivers have it too good to switch.

I don't know if it's been officially announced but it's been rumored the CJB team is going Hi Limit.

High Limits is banking on Rico comitting to the series in 2024 for star power. They will have full fields for certain races with a smattering of the likes of Marks, Macri, Brown etc. along with certain Outlaw drivers using their 4 FREEBIES, but there are certainly questions on car counts for their "regular" races.

If I am High Limits, I am worrying about Larson and Sweet winning 80% of the races next year. I am a huge Larson fan, but even i would get bored if he wins most of the races. That was always the beauty of The All Stars, you weren't quite sure who was going to win one of their races, most of the time.

I never said he did.  I said the winner of the race meaning the A main should get more than the Bmain purse.    That is what he ea tay about and I think his idea is the dumbest thing I have ever seen on here.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

This is what he said in a nutshell.  Let's take money away from the top 3 to 5 finishers and give more to the cars that don't qualify than to the winner of the race.  Stupidest thing I have ever seen.

Reading through all this is making my head spin. Basic good economics doesn't equal socialism.

If a national touring series really wanted to improve the state of sprint car racing their races would pay less to win and then spread the money through the purse to help the little guys and the locals out BUT then have put up a very large point fund to reward the guys who run good throughout the year. That's how you do it. Nothing socialist about it.

You sell yourself short. The stupidest thing ever seen is a fella that goes on an internet message board with a pathetic need to be right about everything, no matter what. Now use your low self-esteme to prove me right by argueing that FACT!

Oh , I know all this. Sometimes I just like showing people how much of a moron they really are. 99% of the time I ignore. But this is TOO easy and what my stance is, really is an issue with me and what tracks are doing to the sport.

Racers and teams actually control the sport. The can enter races or avoid them unless they are not good enough to be allowed to participate. If they are willing to race for the money available they made their decision.

I think the money should be spread around well. Tow money or money to start an event is a good way besides the winner monies. Just need a decent balance to grow the sport.

I agree. This would also work with local tracks, without dropping the purses for regular shows, if they paid enough to make it worthwhile to run for a championship.

I get it.  I fall into that trap way more often than I would like to admit.  But this guy will not get it.  He doesn't understand the difference between a fact and opinion.  He will never understand that people have a right to their own opinion.  And if he runs out of things to say his go to line is "You can't handle the truth".  But you did prove what a moron he is, just like many people on here have and he still doesn't get it.

I fall for his BS also. He blabbing about giving an example of a LM race that had a sellout crowd I did then it's crickets from him. Only an idiot like him would make me defend the fendered cars.

I feel there's a place for both HL and WoO in the current sprint car scene. That was probably not so when there was a third group involved- the AllStars. There are lots of sprint cars and drivers out there, but only about a dozen well know drivers- for now. Maybe that's where HL and Flo come into the picture? WoO fans recognize the well known WoO divers and some others. Flo fans might be introduced to a whole set of different drivers.

I don't think that HL's future revolves around playing king of the mountain with the WoO, but I can see why they are starting out as something of a clone series until they can figure out which way to go.

Some years back when Chuck the Clown bought Husets, I figured that he had to be planning something with streaming revenues in order to finance all the money he spent. I was was wrong. He was hoping to carry the whole thing on ego alone. In the future, streaming revenues will play a part in the finances of most succesful race tracks. I'd rather see that trend benefit sprint cars and not some of the reality show racing type carp going on now. Don't get me started on swamp buggies and TV coverage....
