I like number 9 in egras comment but it needs a tweak. Flip a coin each race to decide what direction to run, heads clockwise, tails counter clockwise. Now that would be interesting.

highspeeddirt. great idea, taking your idea one step furhter. All races become bi-directional. The first half is run counter-clockwise. The second half is run clockwise. Bi-directional is not woke and I do not drink Bud Light.

I heard that some other PA speedway might dip it's toes into Friday night 410 racing. I'ts been tried before a long time ago with Hagerstown, it didn't work. Times do change though.

I'm old enough to remember the Hagerstown races definitely a different time then than now. Clinton County ran several years on Fridays and I believe Path Valley did also in the mid nineties but with the current car count in Pa, I question why try to split an already thin pool withore races?

that hagerstown deal was owners weikert and trying to remember ,maybe boops being mad they paid big money had the top dogs but no fans also went to path valley on fridays had cars but not the big dogs no fans like when lincolin went no drinking paid good money had good cars , the fans left ,unless its susky they can draw cars ,the smaller track usually does but depending on the purse will it be any top dogs and logistics , location wise they can draw the same group of fans thats what killed the other tracks efforts location and distance to that same group of fans

That would make sense given Tony's new found love with drag racing. I am assuming the Ford program will officially go to The Rudeen team and Zeb Wise.

Not necessarily closing up shop. But things will change for the 15 car. Rudeen bringing money to the deal and it will be Sunshine in the 15 car. Sheldon will be in the 7BC with Ste house backing out of team ownership as well.

The only thing that would make sense for another CPA track to run 410s on friday nights would be if it was not a half mile to give those teams who really only have a short track engine and drive set up another night in which they could be competitive. Engine HP and torque curves are very diffferent between WGrove/Port and Lincoln. Steve Smith actually ran a 396 engine at Lincoln with a massive torque curve and had two half mile engines that he rotated for WGrove and long tracks. That concept of another short track makes one of the two other CPA tracks needing to shorten up in order for that to happen. It would be easier to shorten BAPS than SGrove, IMO.

Is Jacob jumping into the 1M/A for the finals? I see they also have shared Tanners merch post last night, so I would guess they're fielding 3 cars this weekend?

He won this race several years ago to earn his first 410 victory. It was a pretty happy day for him and the team.

Selinsgrove tried it before in the early 80s. I hope it works this time. If they race the same divisions as port does, and rotate the Limited Late Models , 305s, and another division as the third division , I think it will work this time.

Wonder if they'd consider some sort of dual track points deal with Port & Selinsgrove? Although tt happens more frequently with modified tracks and may not be as beneficial to Port.
