As far as I know, we've never met, Stan, but I always love reading your posts.
And Natalie, I still miss you racing at Knoxville. I've seen you make some pretty exciting moves there.

She may not be on the level of Dave Argabright, but she hasn't been doing it very long I don't think. She does a good job in the interviews. I think its cool because the drivers talk a little bit longer to her than they would a dude lol.
She's hot, better looking people get a little more le-way, that's just the way of the world. The better looking you are, you will have an easier go at life, if you make the right decisions and take advantage of it. May not be fair, but thats the way it is.

Natalie is a dime... It's hard to find fault with a hot sprint car chick. Plus she's a he'll of a lot less annoying than Heather EX Henderson.

Great post, STAN, btw.
BORING BACKGROUND STORY: I've announced at a race track for a few years, I've written for multiple racing websites (including this one) & am generally critical of sprint car announcers & media. I don't take the attitude of "I can do better" or "they're not doing it like I would." Some announcers & media members are simply better than others.
I'm not familiar with Natalie's media work other than twitter stuff which has generally been more personal than professional IMO.
I met her in the pits @ Devil's Bowl once & found her smile & attractiveness pretty amazing... I don't get thrown off kilter that badly by many women I meet but she made quite a positive impression on me.
Keyboard bashing has always been bewildering to me on message boards of any type & it's nothing new or extraordinary for folks to bash her on here. I've always taken the attitude of don't type anything you wouldn't say to someone's face, in front of your mother, your priest/minister or whomever you respect most.
If she isn't great at what she does (I personally don't know)... give her time to improve & stop being so judgmental of everyone all the time. No one threw 98 mph on their first toss of the baseball, no one cured cancer on their 1st chemical equation written and no well-respected person in racing media was perfect in their first efforts, either. Not Dick Berggren, Dave Argabright, Brad Doty, John Sawyer, Bruce Ellis or anyone else you can name that I respect very much as those gentlemen.
Cut her some slack.

Sather is doing ok with a job she likes. She knows about race cars and race drivers. I see nothing wrong with her job which I would guess is low paying and may be a learning exp. for a future job. She was trying to race stock cars out east at one time.

Referring to the racing media in general...I think most would benefit by following Chris Economaki's advice - "Ask a question!".
Chances are you're going to get a more interesting response from a driver by asking him a question rather than just congratulating him.

After reading the critique on here of Sather, I decided to listen in on Friday. Honestly, I thought she did a fine job. No problems with the questions she asked, nor did I find her voice annoying. Her credentials as a racer qualifies her for the job and let's face it, she is very marketable.
She most likely reads this forum and I just want to say to her, "keep going girl!"
