I along with some drunken buddies will stop through and donate saturday when we come into town for the 360 show. Will u be around most of the day?
|
Haha! Sounds like a plan! We should be around all day! I will be walking around town but there should be someone there to that can help. If not, you can email me at [email protected] and we can meet up in town somewhere.

I believe he has been running a 360 engine against the 410's the last month or so
Also, his rear tires have 6 nights on them since he got them (and they were used when he got them).

What about slapping some kind of sticker on the car, maybe a Hoseheads or Hosers or whatever, if there's change left over. That is, of course, if it's not stepping on anyone's toes. Any graphics design people or someone with some pull got any ideas? Just throwin it out there. Does Robert know about this yet?

I'm actually a graphic designer. The Minnesota Mafia is going to help throw some stickers on there. He may know, but I have not told him.

You can donate via PayPal by sending your donation to [email protected] or by making a cash donation during Nationals starting this Saturday.
|
I just made my donation. I hope he has a great race! Thanks for bringing Robert Bell to my attention. He's the kind of racer I like.

Some people may be tired of hearing it, but I just want to say again how amazed I am by the generosity of the sprint car family. Donations keep coming and coming and I couldn't be more thankful for you guys donating your hard earned money to a cause for a guy who just loves to be on the track. Thanks again!

An update on the fund's progress. As of last night, we have already surpassed our goal. Brad Brown of IBRacn stepped up and put another $50 on the table bringing our total to $200, which is right around the price of a right rear. Not only did he donate, but he also used the resources and popularity that he has to promote the fund. In doing so, the driver of the #4x Shawn Peterson donated an entire tire to the fund! I know Shawn has been getting a lot of criticism on here lately, but it shows that Peterson cares about the sport and is a member of the sprint car racing family. I am very grateful for all generous donations and truly in awe by how fast this has taken off. I want to see it keep growing and growing! Help continue to spread the word!

Just for all you people who are quick to judge and run a man down without knowledge. the driver of the 4x Shawn Peterson donated a tire. That is a good lesson for each of you to learn. Before you cast judgement without knowing the person, having facts, Then just save your comments for yourself. I believe there is a great Bible story that would fit well. Let Ye with no sin cast the first stone. I've said my part and I'll bet you that Shawn Peterson had never met Robert Bell before this even started.

Im gonna have to agree with u ! I thought it should have shut alot of people up when he donated the tire, but it only slowed them down a littlte. Seriously people its his money he can do WHATEVER he wants to do with it ! If he wants to destroy 3 cars a night shut up and enjoy the show! If you are all so hell bent on saving someone elses life from this peterson fella stop pissing and moaning about it and demand that sprint car sanctioning bodies certify drivers the way NHRA and other bodies do.

I would say robert is in his mid 50's. Once you meet him you will never forget him. I talk to him when he hauls corn into the place I work and he is always excited to talk about his sprint cars. Super nice guy.
