Well every sprint car driver that has been successful in NASCAR have one thing in common,

They all raced Champ cars at one time, And most of them won the Silver Crown title some where along the way!

This includes Blaney (84 Champ) who's the only wing driver to ever stay around!

Stevie Reeves, how could I forget him! I saw his first win in his first ride in the Steve Lewis #9 Midget at the Copper classic. For those of you who saw it, you'll remember that it was one of those typical wild finishes that the Midgets had there at Phoenix.

Stevie Reeves born on May 16, 1967 in Speedway, Indiana
After several seasons racing on the bullrings (short tracks) of Indiana, Reeves traveled nationally with the United States Automobile Cluband wound up winning back-to-back USAC National Midget titles in 1992 for the Wilke Racers and in 1993 for midget car owner Steve Lewis.
After collecting those two titles, Reeves ventured into the NASCARBusch Grand National Series in 1994 joining Mark Thomas Racing with Clabber Girlsponsorship on the number 96 Chevrolet.

In 1995, Reeves collected his first pole at Bristol Motor Speedwayand got his first top 10 with a sixth place finish at Richmond International RacewayHis career best finish in the final points standings for the Busch Series was in 1997 when he took 20th place.

Ultimately his career in the Busch Series was for the most part underwhelming. He never could hold a steady ride in his career, which lasted from 1994-1998. Reeves was employed by five different car owners in his five seasons (Mark Thomas, Ed Whitaker, Mike Curb, Donald Laird, and David Ridling).

After his stint in Busch, Reeves returned to his roots in open wheel racing in 1998. Reeves made his first start in the Indy Racing Leaguein North Carolina on July 25 of that year, finishing an impressive 10th for Pagan RacingHe drove three more IRL races in 2000for Logan Racing, suffering mechanical failures in each event.

Meanwhile, Reeves returned to the USACSilver Crown Series in 1998, wheeling the Johnny Vance/Raybestos #28 Beast.
In 2005, he was employed with Dale Earnhardt, Inc.In 2006, he was a spotter for the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet driven by Jimmie Johnson

Paul Menard
Paul Menard is a NASCAR driver currently competing in the Sprint Cup Series. He currently drives the #98 Menards Ford Fusion in both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series, the former for Richard Petty Motorsports and the latter for Roush Fenway Racing. He is the son of Menards founder John Menard,...

.
He is currently a spotter for the #98 Quaker State car of Paul Menard

Nobody mentioned Dave Blaney? He had a shot at Cup ... turned into a well-paid valet parker. wink

actually had a shot to win a couple of races with some average teams. never a week in week out contender though. would have been nice for him to get a real shot at a good car for a couple of years before being relegated to go or go home car. i cant remember the specific tracks, but i do remember him running in the top 5 with a shot a couple of times. for some reason bristol rings a bell in the cat car? dont remember.

That right!... I'd thought of Sarah, but I guess I had a brain fart. I saw her race at Phoenix in the west series. She's a class act!

Whoa...over 30 million in career earnings for 12 years in NASCAR. What does he keep? A third to Half that depending on contracts?!! Wonder what Kinser or Schatz has made in the last 12 years? Sounds like Blaney has got this figured out. (And doesn't even have to work all day Sunday!)

Tyler Walker had a great opportunity but he .......nah I won't go there. I am pretty sure Mark Kinser raced in the truck division but I could be wrong with that ??

The ride he settled for was a poopbox and I don't think he qualified for the race in 5 or 6 attempts.

Nobody else could make a race in it either.

Dude, Them's fightin' words right there! You better do a little more research before you start throwin' daggers! Sayin' Blaney aint nothin' on a sprint car board will make you some enemies real quick.............Blaney aint nothin'.............Geesh..............For starters, can you say 1995 WoO champ? And to answer the Nascar question about him almost winning, it was at Atlanta in 2000(one of Nascars fastest tracks)he was driving the Amoco #93, and he was on his way to winning until a left rear tire decided to end his day..................

SUPPORT WILDLIFE, go to a sprint car race!

wonder how come sammy or steve or donny never got asked to jump into a nascar?

im sure they would be good at it! sprintcars are prolly one of the last steps to getting into a nascar but how come nobody ever advances? jeff gordon kaseykahne tonystewart and some others im sure came from sprints. but no new ones from sprints for years! wonder how come? just some things i was wondering about! thanks guys

Steve and Sammy aren't in NASCAR because they aren't blainless puppets. They also realize there is more to life than getting rich.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
