Been to every one except the last one. The speedweek show was the only good one and that's because they finally got the cushion up close to the fence. Best race of the year at Selinsgrove was the 360 race that Mark Smith won from 15th and guess what? The track was dry-slick with the cushion up near the wall.

I have been to some at Selinsgrove this year. One was ok. The others I was at were awesome. The best race so far this year for the 410's at Selinsgrove was the Speedweek show. Marks on the bottom and Deitrich around the top and neither one was slipping and sliding!! I plan on going Sunday if it is not raining. I have yet to go away from Selinsgrove this year disappointed. The fastest car always wins. That doesn't always happen at another track that will remain nameless.

I don't know wingedspeed. Never met him. Speaking of idiots.....looked who chimed in. This is a Lincoln thread there shouldn't have been anything about the Port o Potty on this thread. Port is nothing more than an asphalt track.
I have been to Lincoln, Selinsgrove, and Williamsgrove in PA this summer. Multiple times to these tracks.
I also went to 5 nights of racing in Ohio earlier this year.

i agree with others that the 50 seems like the bigger race. i'll use the b-main two years as the evidence. guys were racing with desperation to the point of stupidity. you could tell how badly they wanted to race in the feature. i haven't seen that anywhere else...not even the kings royals last year to be honest.

Yes there is something wrong with you. I have a B.S. detector. With most people on here it goes off often!

Another great night of 410 spring car racing last night at Lincoln. Still proves to be the absolute best prepared track in Pa if not everywhere. 3 wide, flat out racing all night and even after all racing, very little dust. Keep up the great work!!
|
I agree about the racing , its my fav track too. It also is #1 for screwing around the most. One div show 2wks ago feat started close to 11pm. Last night Port had 410 feat over and lincoln was still on legends heats. If can't race without having 3 div , then start earlier.

Port starts 45 minutes to an hour earlier than Lincoln. That is part of the reason ports surface is like blacktop.

Port ran 10 heats, 3 B mains and a 25 lap sprint feature caution free. Great action up front in the sprints as leaders were able to navigate lap traffic and slice and dice for position without taking anyone out. Great job by Borden! Logan Wagner lapped? Wow.

What I saw on the highlights was if you were fast you were on the outside if you went low and tried to stay low you were going backwards. There wasn't even a hint of a low groove. Very, very poor track prep.

Port has become a top dominant track for sure but putting your RR up along the wall like the 23 did last night isn't for the faint at heart. There were cars passing on the bottom too. Dietrich was one.

Set-up, set-up, set-up. Up on the wall is a lot farther around, especially on the big tracks, DD had no problem passing guys on the inside. Wagner getting lapped really surprised me, I'm thinking they thru something at the car and either Mike didn't like the feel of it or maybe a tire sealed up on him.

I just rode along with DD on Saturday night. Over half of his passes he entered low and drifted high slide jobs. Very few at the beginning of the feature did he stay low the entire corner. Very poor track prep!!

I wasn't there but the track must have been very crapping when the so called slick master finished a very distant 12 seconds behind. Sprinters need to go to Lincoln where they can get a grip and a cushion instead of the steel fence.
