I wonder what you folks think of my favorite version of All-Time, Marvin Gaye at the NBA All-Star game years ago. He had the players and the whole building involved.....Soulful and meaningful.....

SInce you're going in that direction.... my favorite was when I saw Grover Washington Jr. play the anthem live on sax at Philly/NJ NBA Playoff game in 1984 (Nets eliminated defending champ Sixers... piss!)
He played it pretty much straight up & way soulful, one of the few times I got misty eyed about it....

Rusty Shields sings at quite a few shows in the midwest. Will probably be at Dome this Saturday. He does a great rendition of the anthem.

I've heard little ones sing it & was impressed. Some Adults that have should never be asked again !!!!
