I as well am not very shocked by this. Watching some interviews at Eldora and then at Knoxville, Shane just appear to be enjoying himself. Of course his Nationals took a big turn in his heat and in a wrong direction. Then I read an interview with Gravel following the Nationals and he talked about leaving the 5 for the 41. Sounded like it was very tense last year, a lot of negativity and said it wasn’t fun at all. I had heard some rumblings from a somewhat inside source after Knoxville last year that Jackson and him were at odds. Pretty hard to replicate their season prior, though I’m sure Jackson’s competitiveness was boiling over, at same time I’m guessing Karl Kinser wasn’t a blast to be around when he wasn’t winning either. That article with Gravel really echoed what I had heard last year and the look on Shane’s face as of late seemingly shows the same thing. At same time Gravel said how laid back and a family atmosphere the 41 team has has been a key to their successes. At the beginning of the season there was a post about who would have a better season, Gravel and JJR, Macedo and KLR, or Stewart and CJB. Gravel will forever be known as a Nationals Champ and JJR has the most wins they’ve had in a season with a coup,e months left, Macedo and KLR seem to be gelling with multiple wins and Stewart is shopping for a ride in 2020. Guess that question has been answered. Someone said Kerry Madsen to 5....I honestly don’t think that would work as Jackson and Madsen are both pretty hard headed (yet very successful don’t get me wrong) and that doesn’t always breed success....or it could be a match that creates success. I hope Shane gets a good ride, he’s one of the good guys I feel.

I got to ask! When was Karl Kinser ever not Winning? LOL

Has any driver “meshed well” with this team?
Sounds like Gravel didn’t “mesh well” either so his success says more about the driver than the team.
I’ll say it yet again - if Fred Rahmer looks bad in a car, it ain’t the driver!

Couldn't agree more. Look at the list of drivers they've had. Other than Michael Carber who was pretty good for a rookie, they've had some huge names.

I'd love to see Gio full time with the WoO before he goes to Nascar. Other possibilities for this ride.....JMAC, Shaffer, K. Madsen. I also think Cole Duncan is good enough for an Outlaw ride. Unlikely I know.....but that guy is good.

Personally, I see Gio being a Indy Car driver before a NASCAR driver, but that's just me.

The team changed its motor program as well. They use to run Kistlers but now they are running motors from Gray Motorsports. It's their team and can run it as they please but feel that it is going to be hard for them to be a tough contender until they learn to be easier to work for. I don't think Dominic could go in there and be successful. He is talented and he and Bernie mesh. Their has to be the trust in one another.

I think Kerry will be back in the CJB team, and if that happens, who hops in the KI car?
Austin is out of the TKS ride, so who takes over that one? I can't see Chad running the schedule that team usually runs.
Possibly Henderson, or Carson McCarl, but would LOVE to see Zomer racing on a regular basis at Knoxville.
Todd's second car travels occasionally racing mainly in the upper midwest.
As someone said on twitter, waiting for the dominos to start to tumble....

Kerry Madsen with Jackson wrenching in the 5 car on WoO tour with Todds money helping. Todd shuts down the 2 team and sponsors a car in the midwest would be my guess. Unfortunately Shane on the outside looking in. Probably running All Stars or hit and miss type deal like Saldana..

^This I think makes the most logical sense.^ The 2 car has been awful this year with the exception of a couple big nights. How do they go from being the invader that wins multiple outlaw races a year not running on tour, to fighting to be a field filler?

While I agree it probably happens based on relationships... it makes no sense. Madsen and Stewart are basically the same driver as far as experience, age, past success, future potential. I want to see new blood on the WoO tour. Gio Scelzi would be awesome.

Those who are spending the money are the ones who determines what makes sense and what doesn't.
Only barrier to entry to you getting your new blood on the WoO tour is a couple hundred grand. Fulfill your dreams and go for it!

I would agree Madsen is basically another Stewart based on everything listed. Scelzi would make logical sense but then again, I don't know if he would be wanting to go full time Outlaw tour because of potential greener ($$$) pastures with a certain asphalt brand. One driver depending on his schedule would be James McFadden. Not sure what the plan would be for the KKR 9 car next year and if Kahne is going to get back in it or throw in the towel completely.
