Basically 12 straight shows going against BMS and you're trying to say they're trying to work with them, You're kidding right the NSL has become a two track series to take down 1 track period.

C'mon get real. The NSL was committed to Knoxville regarding Saturday night events from the very beginning. Every body knows that. Evidently the only two that didn't are you and Chuck!

I attended Kville Nationals 3 times and Huset's 1 of those times for an Allstar race...Huset's was more my style of track and had a lot of action going on simultaneously as is common with smaller tracks. Kville had the excitement of a large crowd booing Danny Lasoski, Steve Kinser, Terry McCarl and Donnie Schatz each time their names were called...which does have some entertainment value.
The clay at Hustes was tacky after the A main...Buzzkill, Smitty and I had a great week of racing...each night had higlights, including the flights, driving and the food.
half miles do give you time to open extra beers while the cars follow each other...but I'm not a beer drinker..
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Ah yes, the term "Steel City Posse" was born on that night high atop turn four. It was a heavy track but a fun feature for sure.

Looking at the upcoming season I think all the tracks involved will do just fine. IF Badlands had gone with the Sunday 410 routine who REALLY would have made all of the Friday- Sat - Sun 410 shows? Prolly T-Mac, Kaeding & Ian Madsen. Lasoski hasnt raced a weekly show at Husets in decades and Brown has only raced there a handful of times in his life. Zomer will run plenty of Fridays at Grand Forks again.
T-Mac and Jeffrey are gonna race on Saturdays at Badlands in 2016 more then they did on Sunday at Husets in 2015... with other cars coming out of the woodwork I am sure the Badlands car count will be much better then the pathetic counts the place has had the last 3-4 years.
Now as far as scheduling, Knoxville moved the Late Model Nationals up one week, now the same weekend as the Wissota 100 at Huron. 2 late season specials I have been going to annually but I cannot attend both any more. Did anybody bitch about Knoxville scheduling a big special against a South Dakota track?

You are really going to compare the Late Model Nationals to the Wissota 100. Just enjoy the racing at whatever faciliities you choose to attend.
We keep talking about which track will suffer when really it will be what night. Are there enough fans to support 3 straight nights of racing on the I-90 Corridor. Leave Knoxville out of it ....can the fans support 3 nights of racing every week. My guess is no. So question becomes which track gets hurt on attendence Badlands(Saturday, Sunday) or Jackson (Friday)

You answered your own question but failed to mention the correct track. I-90 will be the real loser in this.

You stated, that the NSL has become a two track series, which is far from the truth. Yes, the NSL does race at Knoxville and Jackson multiple times but like I mentioned there are close to 10 other tracks that are on the NSL schedule. Apparently you think Tod's plan is bad. Don't get offended if Badlands isn't on the schedule. Tod from the very beginning state, that the NSL would not schedule against Knoxville on Saturday nights? So with the majority of the drivers who run Knoxville, also running the NSL, it makes sense to make the multiple Knoxville Saturday night shows an NSL event...a few more drivers and a larger purse for everyone.....a win win.
There are very few people that have done more for sprint car racing especially in the midwest these past few years than Tod. He's making the sport we love so much, better.

From a racer stand point the nsl deal isn't all that great. If one adds up the draw fee of 20 bucks on the 360 side and membership of 200 big ones no you dont have to join but the pit pass will eat u up some shows at 50 or more for non members . I believe ill run at badlands dont have to join and there are a lot more incentives.
