By the way  to all readers here , I  appreciate each and one of you no matter where you live for supporting racing , and  I am sincere when I say that . no pats on the back , I mean what I say.

Yup, and you can prove those tracks were not planning the paint and hand driers till you suggested them! Sorry Bob, but if you knew anything about business you would know that most all successful ones have plans that extend out a few years. They don't just suddenly decide to spend a bunch of money because they got a letter from a fan that looked like it was from a 5 year old suggesting they should.

If you want no pats on the back why do you keep posting about all the great things you think you did for the sport?

Why did you lie to us when you said you were no longer going to respond to us?

When is one of your promoter friends going to implement your home built motor incentive?

Lol, omg this is awesome, you put it in writing to Charlie Paige to paint the covered grand stands, are you fucking kidding me? Robert stop begging for a pat on the back and saying you don't want it at the same time. Have you noticed that none of the fans you love so much are sticking up for you? That's because noone gives a crap about you or what you pretend to do for fans, you do nothing, not a freaking thing, you are funny though.

Sadly sir, you are wrong. If you've ever met and spoke with Altman you'd know that this is no laughing matter. He's 100% serious. He literally thinks that Charlie Paige painted the grandstands and put hand dryers in the bathrooms because he suggested it. Like Oswald said, these things are planned years ahead of time but Altman really is that stupid and self absorbed that he really thinks that Charlie dropped what he was doing and did that shit because he was blown away after he read Bob's letter to Santa Clause. I wish it were a joke but unfortunately, here in Central Pa, we have Bob Altman as you see him on this message board. Thank God none of these tracks around here have been dumb enough to hire him for his "services".

Odd for someone who posts a bunch of vague ideas about improving racing but never gives any details on those ideas to claim other people do not know what they are talking about!

Your own posts make it easy to criticize you. Stupid ideas and stating all you have allegedly done & naming all the promoters and track owners you consult with but don't want any pat on the back!

For whatever reason he thinks it's his responsibility to try & tell us what tracks/series HE THINKS does more for racing & what tracks/series don't care about YOU THE FANS.  It's like he wants to creats a union for race fans.  He also thinks his nimwit ideas he tries to pass on to the tracks/series actually influences or pressures them.  For you few that stick up for this guy, you have no clue how he really acts.  WEIRD DUDE!

I don't care if he's at home laughing his ass off, this is some funny stuff. How often do you cross paths with someone this delusional. The grandstands at Selinsgrove Speedway were probably last painted in the 80"s, Helen Keller would have known those grandstands needed painting. Robert drafts a letter and sends it off to Charlie Paige to point out one of the most obvious improvements in the history of the track. Obviously Charlie already had planned on painting the grandstands and when he does Roberts fantasy is complete, " My letter got the grandstands painted " . The rest of the world understands this was a coincidence but Robert believes he got Charlie to paint the grandstands. You can't make this shit up. 

At first I wanted to shut Bob up.  But then I realized I couldn't get this kind of entertainmant if I paid for it. I now find this haliarious, In the immortal words of Kenny Bania  "gold, Jerry! Gold!"  And if Bob actually takes himself seriously, even better!

You are correct, I've never met the man. If he's the "loony" he appears to be and what others make him out to be, why not just ignore him? Seems to me that would be the answer.

Now that's funny! I guess we can use the humor around here from time to time...lol....I take it he's from PA....so PA fans should drop hints to him as to the changes other fans would like to see. Challenge him to see how much pull he really has.

Gre at  fans  of sprint  car racing understand  i do these  thinngs for all of   you. I  once consulted  a racetrack on  heating the  frying  oil up before cooking   the  corn  dogs  each race night. Track name not mentioned  since i  dont want  to take credit  for this  amazing  idea  also  so many pats on my already  sore back from  so many great  fans admiring my  hard  work.  Another  time  I told  a track  some good ideas about  putting seats  at the track so the  great fans of sprint  car racing  can sit  during races,  again   no praise needed  I did   it for you  the fans. The  most  recent  act  of race  track  chairty  i  did  was to  suggest  shit paper  for the toilets at no  consulting  fee for  this promoter. I did  it all cause  i knew   butts need  to be  wiped  and  our  sport is  better off  because of   my  great   ideas.   Again no way  did   i  do  this   for the  back pats .   Robert

I probably should ignore him but his bashing of Lincoln and Williams Grove plus him blatantly lying about things he's done pisses me off. The people in this sport who do things to help it should be appreciated and recognized. On the other hand, self anointed imposters like Bob Altman should be exposed when they lie about things such as helping to bring USAC to Central PA. 

It crossed my mind that aTLman might really be fiXXXer...

That's always been his goal. To create a union for race fans and to be their leader. That's what the PA Posse Fans Association thing he had going years ago was all about. I'd assume if he'd been successful, he'd probably use his position as a union leader to discourage fans from going to Lincoln, Williams Grove and whatever other tracks didn't let him set up his stupid table for free or who don't have facilities to suit him and encourage them to attend the tracks that he does like. And his mind, if he was able to keep a bunch of fans from attending, he could negotiate with the tracks that they're striking against and get them to implement the changes he wanted to make. Then at the end of the day, all the fans look at him as some sort of hero or something. It's really kind of a cult leader mentality that this guy has. 

All his posts about the racing isn't that good and this & that need improved at these tracks and promoters and series don't listen to fans and don't care about the fans does way more to HURT sprint car racing than anything else.

That's what passes me off. All he does is put down the sport he claims to love & want to help!

NEVER a positive post from him without a " but they need to improve this & that to make it better ". 

Never 1 post about a great race he saw with noting negative added!

Add to damn stupid to realize it, even when it is constantly pointed out to him.

If he actually knew any promoters they would tell him his " this needs improved " and " this promoter doesn't care about the fans " posts are hurting them far, far more than helping!
