Wore shorts there for the whole ten years I was there, course I worse shorts everywhere for those years, sooooo. ICE as someone mentioned can be a real buzzkill, it screws everything up. You will meet tons of great people from all over the place and they will have lots of good suggestions and ideas, I doubt you'll be lead astray. Expect the best race experience of your life and I'll be surprised if your disappointed, this is one legend that generally never fails, enjoy....

Here we are only a week away from the event that has become Christmas,New Year's and my birthday.......ALL ROLLED UP IN ONE ! I thought that we had seen our last Chil Bowl but fate stepped in and here we go again.
We will be looking for a lot of old friends especially the ones from Sydney ,AU. The Bean Bag Tournament brings out the cream of the crop and we will be hoping to see Petey's folks there.Stubb,Andrew,Jules,Humper, and hopefully our own favorites,Beer Stud and D.W.
If I have one more wish it would be to see "the kid"(as we have come to call Kyle Larson) take home that GOLDEN DRILLER.
Set your alarm,Alfa Carol, and get out of that sack so we can have one last hurrah at the breakfast on Saturday.
See you all there.

That I know of, there's your generic Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings. Perhaps someone more familiar has some better suggestions.

Freeway Cafe! Great diner food with a classic car theme. If you would like some good home style cooking, hit Shiloh's and make sure to get some warm rolls with their rhubarb spread, it is heaven.
great BBQ head to Sapulpa and try Hickory House BBQ.
For some great German food, Siegli's is wonderful, but you have to like German Food.
I have tried many places, some I love, and some or so so, these are some of the places we try to hit when we are there, because they are just different enough or good enough make me remember them.
My issue with the BBQ in Tulsa is, well, to be frank, not that great. Until I found Hickory House. There are a couple others that I ahve heard, but have not had the pleasure to try.
Weber's Root Beer is freat as well as coney i lander for a quick dog....or 6
Have fun, eat well, and race hard!
