I think alot of drivers like Brian Brown, Shane Stewart make more money pick and choose races than they could on WOO tour. I think the glory of being in WOO has lost alot over time. Would you rather drive 2000 miles to race in Calf., or 200 miles to race in Mo..

The WoO definitely doesn't have enough glory left for every swinging dick across the country who runs a 410 to have to pay them an extra $40 a tire ~$100 a night whether the Outlaws even come race at their track or not. What a jackass move.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Please be realistic...The Outlaws get Free..yes Free..tires given to them every race night..They do not give a Shit how many dollars the rest of us Pay...They are telling American Racer Tires they are going with them & at the same time meeting with a representive from Hoosier as late as Today..They have no care for the rest of us..and while all this back Stabbing is going down ..You can be sure the Knoxville guys are selling us out to the highest bidder ..The PA people are at least having the Guts to stand up and say Enough..I hope they end up standing Together & Not selling out their Owners & Drivers

Better ask some of those teams out there, I saw the tire guy bring the bill to many of them and await payment @ both regular season Outlaw shows in Knoxville...
Tire costs are what they are. Back in the day about 3 or 4 teams had tire deals (and even then they weren't free. Steve Kinser had a $50,000 tire sponsorship from Hoosier before Hoosier became the official tire of the WoO. That helped OFFSET his tire costs, but didn't cover it all.
Once they went to a one manufacturer rule, Steve was one of the biggest complainers about it because it took away $50,000 in sponsorship for his team.
I'd bet the farm (if I had one) that there will be a tire rule in 2013-2015 with either American Racer or Hoosier with the WoO (and probably most if not ALL of the big 410 tracks across the Nation including the Grove and Knoxville (once those dominoes fall, the rest will as well)).

Haha, so if kasey Kahne called tomorrow and offered either a ride in the 4 car, both would say no to run for 3k to win local shows? The outlaws pay by far the biggest purse in the country, race in and race out.

so from $230 down to $180 what a great deal..been ripping off the racers for $50 a tire for years have helped a lot of guys to leave the sport .now.. that the pressure is on... they can reduce the price by $50 ...what a bunch of nice guys

I think they should make spec Chassis. Go with XxX, that's the best way to save money. Tires won't cut it.

Word is they have (Americanracer) promised to keep the price of their tire under $200
|
