Isn't this a forum on racing, not a personal forum to attack people....
|
When did this become a forum for racing ?

It's the gossip rag of speedway for me, I come here to catch up on all the garbage.
It's called bench racing - talking shit since racing started... maybe even a few days before.

Anyone who questions Walker's talent level obviously didn't witness what was possibly the best winged race I have seen in many years between him and Saldana at the FRC "King of the Hill". the cars ran like they are pictured for the three laps of the event. It was like they were tied together.
I don't care what anyone says, he has more talent than most.

Damn this thread is tempting!
Hawker,
I don't think anyone here is questioning his talent; I think it has more to do with his judgment/character, or lack there of.
Oh how I want to rip T-Dub! Unfortunately, after some careful self examination, I've come to the conclusion that I'm not perfect either.
With that said, Tyler appears to be a very, very slow learner. I'm finding it hard to feel sorry for the King of California.

I'm guessing you have never had a water or oil on a helmet before? Even if he had 15 tearoffs on his shield, all the oil would have went in between them and smeared. The man couldn't stop or see where he was going. Even guys who race at a certain track for 20+ years have went right by the pit openings and stopped on the track. It happens at Williams Grove all the time!
The only reason he could see to get the car to the pits after he stopped was because he lifted the shield when the push truck came to move him.

well, im glad you are guessing, because, you are wrong, due to uneducated guess you have a 50%chance of being right, I have had fliuds, hot or cold! ,oil, brakefuild, antifreeze, rocks ,mud, dust ,smoke, my contacts drying out, fogged shields, you name it, ive proubly delt with the majority of it vission problems landing on me and or my shield , divers routinely deal with sun in thier eyes and dust everynight Just because I can sit behind a keyboard and punch a few keys doesnt mean im Just a fan, Ill show now mercy on the lack of good judgement on Walkers part, seems he steps in it quite often, and that my friend is JMO , maybe Walker was amped up at the time? that I will give him, but, for those of you that think he walks on water you need a reality check, Its ok to have a on track favorite , but give up the wishfull rambelings on his code of hidden ethics , Ill agree that we both disagree, bless your heart..

I think you might want to go back and read the whole thread. Then you might change your mind on the questioning of talent...

It must suck being in the back while being pelted by all that stuff. Bless your heart while wasting all that cash. You must be pissed cause he beat you once or fifty times. LOL!
BTW, he's not my favorite. I just get mad when key board commandoes come on here and bash someone who has done so much more and will do much more than any of us one here.
As for what happened......he started in the rear, was FLYING up through the field and was going for seventh AND sixth when the engine let loose on the car. I'm 100% positive he was pissed when that happened.

Sounds like theres some jealousy playin through here just like on the thread about the video outside the bar in L.A. If your truly a hater than you would not even mention his name let alone come on this board and fuel the fire. All your doin is making people curious....and thats what sells my friend....thats what sells. Peace 410show 4life.

Well said. This thread is just another attemp to slam the sport I love so much. Some of you posters are like a bunch of little school girls. Wow, so Tylers the FIRST driver to ever be fired! (sic) I bet the little girl who started this thread just couldn't log on fast enough to bash him. You got what you wanted. Now, go get back in line for your Oprah tickets. I'm sure your fellow groupies are soo proud.

Hey there Kenny. Happy New Year! I will not be at the races this time. I'm in Yuma now, working and will most likely be home late Sat. Bummer. Thanks for posting that interview of Tyler. You can really tell he's an A-Hole...NOT!! I wish more of our so called "brothers" in sprintcars would post more positive videos that support our sport like that. (say that 5 X's real fast!) Take care,
Sean,
P.S. I still owe ya. I remember!

Actually? , I run quite well , on my hard earned dollar, I dont toot my own horn, I let my actions speak for me, my Daddy, Uncle, or Grandpa doesnt flip the bill for my "hobby" , my nose isnt in candy, I dont pursue a lifestyle little ones should never be steered down. Maybe youve meet me before ? maybe you havent,if so your kids would be the ones remembering me and my thoughfullness as a competitor and "real" down to earth person and driver, Im just commenting on Walkers lack of good judgement ,(routinely) and if you dont see it, then you arer blind to the real "Facts" , enjoy the race, your proubly one of the drunk fans that knows everything , I meet them ya know, waiting for a photo from me , Take it as you wish, please dont be so simple minded..

If you're such a saint why are you hiding behind an anonymous screen name? Care to identify yourself with real name?

Sounds like tooting to me. If you really are all those things you claim, everyone would and should know, and you wouldnt have to play that last solo to make sure everyone heard.

WOW, this boards harsh.
To much for my innocent eyes
Everyone screws up at some point. Everyone gets fired. Just seems like tyler has the pile to step in falling before his feet more often than not. Perhaps he will get it together someday!

both my grandads are dead both died when i was pretty young,One happens to be a Veteran (fixed Jeeps)and would he would love the interest I put in my car dearly, my uncle happens to be a alcoholic, I routinely pull him away from his barstool during race season to get him off the bottle for a bit and enjoy something worthy of his time , My dad raised me to pursue anything I liked, lucky for him it was racing, see, he had to quit because he became a father,
I dont need to identify myself, I could, but, you wouldnt know me anyhow, Im a field filler car , and I understand that, I dont pull in with a big budget or equipment totally understood.
I never said I was a saint ,dont put words in my mouth,
I did say Walkers Judgment is (has been) poor.
There was a responce to my understanding of tearoffs , If walker could lift his shield to be pushed into the puts why couldnt he lift it to put the car in while coasting? he was completly out of the car after stoppage and throwing a tantrum, Ill never buy the soar excuses for his stoppage of the race, but, that happens I guess, being a Walker fan you must be prepared for a lettdown from time to time , no biggy, just his cards he plays, I never said he didnt have talent , this post was about Mr Walker, not me, when stated I didnt know anything about his scope of vission I called B.S., I speek for a huge amount of drivers on this board .. and thats. JMO

WELCOME HOME TYLER !!
I don't know what happened down under except you won a race & I see by the pictures that you had some wrecks. That sounds like racing to me. I know you where trying hard to win more races & wanted to have better results. I'm happy you are OK & back home. Sorry it didn't work out better for you & Titan team.
While you where racing down under the #17 Keen team wasn't sitting still. They continued to work hard to be totally prepared for the 2011 season. HAPPY NEW YEAR it's here.
The #17 Keen Motorsports team looks forward to you buckling in the car 34 days from now at the All Stars 2011 kick off race for $10,000 to win at Sceven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga. Then on to Fla.
LET'S GO RACING !!!!
