Still need to have a good driver to win. Don't care how good a car is, someone with skill needs to drive it. As far as for checking cars, the top 5 mods already had tires checked after first race. We all passed this time. Don't know how many other cars from other divisions got checked, but we'll just have to see.

If people would spend half as much time figuring out how to set up their racecars as they do trying to find a new way to cheat or complain about how they aren't cheating as much as some other guy, they wouldn't need to cheat. That guy that was mentioned by cheese never had to cheat because he knows how to get a car around a racetrack and knows how to get a car hooked up. Thats all there is to it. Most of the people crying are the ones that are illegal and still can't win!

First, Factory Stock is does not even go with the class, hasnt for years. Last year I played around with the Street stock class at Ada in my wifes car after she got threw racing. I started about 10 car lengths from the field and was running down the field, this was with a few cars that are Pro stocks with take off tires. Our factory stock is not a high dollar car,be lucky to run top 5 at SFS becouse we wont put that kind of money in a factory stock.
My point is the class has out grown its name, guys cant afford to spend $7,000 or what ever it is,on a motor to run for $250. The count is dropping off. Im all for bringing back the claim. First time a guy gets his $7,000 motor taken for $750, guys may think twice about spending that kind of money.
When a few drivers start having more money than sence, then everybody has to spend more to be competitive. Crate motors is not the answer, If I have to buy a motor for $2500 when my engine builder has, and can build me better for alot less, that will keep me from racing there. The claim does not make racers spend more money than they already have to race.Guys that got money will always spend it,if they get claimed and say it is not fair that they spent $7,000 and it got took for 750, then thats thier fault.
Goodluck to everybody if mother nature would let us race!

ya, but then u go back to the same problem with the claim they had before. some people will spend that money to build that awesome motor and then if someone is going to claim it, they and there crew make death threats to them and about their family. very seldom did anyone ever actually claim a motor

A death threat in today's world is concider a terrorist act. Even a threating phone call. Besides those type people are racing with the money to take care of thier family. And most of them can't afford to race now.
That's my Opinion and I'm stick'en to it.
