I think maybe it was 84. The memory is going.

While it would have been nice if the mini were a WoO race, I certainly understand Alan doing what is best for Handy Promotions. In the long run, I think it will benefit our local racers.

Someone on here has stated that the WoO will now be racing in Texas the same weekend as the MGC. I would love to know which track?

I'm hearing that Houston is refusing to run the WoO this year and Kilgore already has May 1 booked. There aren't any other tracks that have run the WoO in the last few years. I would love to see a weekend double at Cowtown & Devil's Bowl or maybe further south at Highlands (just outside Houston). Inquiring minds would like to know.

Looks like Kilgore on 5/1 to me according to the WoO schedule, and I didn't see any other Texas dates. The 12th & 13th of March are still TBA.

I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

From today's HRP press release:

"The event at Lone Star Speedway on Friday, March 12 and the addition of the race at Houston Raceway Park on Saturday, March 13 will replace the originally scheduled Mini Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway. The World of Outlaws will take to the track at Silver Dollar Speedway for the 57th Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions, September 9-11, with $50,000 awaiting the winner of the crown jewel event."

There are some strange things going on at HRP.

It seems that our "locals" only race has a 30 ticket price tag along with it!
