Anyone still talking about this obviously does not watch hockey. This doesn't even qualify as a confrontation compared to the Tom Wilson, New York Rangers fiasco. That was actual workplace violence.

Johnson obviously doesn't make a living racing, Reutzel does. Johnson wrecks himself more times than he should and usually collects other cars, it's been noted on the tour. I mean all drivers step on their dick occasionally, but Johnson does it often. And before you say he shouldn't have run his mouth, that's bullshit. We've all ran our mouths in the heat of the moment, to someone somewhere along the way, yours truly included. When shit hit the fan, it wasn't always in my favor, but I did the best I could. If there was a video, it would have looked bad, just like most of us. I'm not a trained fighter, I just went at it the best I could, just like Johnson and Reutzel did.
He's Erin because he can't defend himself against a guy that easily has 100 lbs. on him? The guy is a Sprint Car Driver not an MMA fighter! Just because he ran his mouth to a guy that has no business running with the WoO. Are you such a badass that you could trade blows with a guy that has 100 lbs. on you? So confidently that you stand your ground and not back up? If you can, you’re in the upper percentile and more than likely have some sort of training to do so. I admit, I couldn't. It's obvious you don't like Reutzel for some reason and that shows within your comment. The reason doesn’t matter, it’s just your opinion. It's not like he had to run after Reutzel all around the pits, that would be the ninny you say he is.
What you didn't see in the video was Wayne knocking Reutzel off his bike with his scooter, then attacking him. So, there are grounds for assault charges. He was in defense mode, there might be more to it than we know. He did sign a contract with Roth and I’m not 100% sure, but Toyota as well. How do we know there wasn’t a no fighting clause? The haters hate him, they smelled blood in the water and now we have the hate filled feeding frenzy that we have, not just as a driver, but as a person.
I’m not over thinking by saying, this could be a career ending situation for Reutzel. Now we see how mentally strong he is. From the last two nights of racing, you can see he didn’t perform like we’re used to seeing him.

KFirst off, what does Toyota have to do with any of this? Second, who died and left you in charge on deciding who gets to run with the WoO?? Where would the WoO be if 30 something years ago, Steve, Sammy or Doug thought they weren’t good enough to run the series? Not everyone runs the series for the same reason! Anyone that has the balls and the $$$$$ decides that. Most of us sitting at home wouldn’t be able to make a full season on the road with these guys! JMO, but if you want and can run with the WoO? We should be giving them a thata boy, not bashing them for trying!! Let’s go racing and leave the drama somewhere else.

Maybe don't run your mouth at someone that has a 100lbs on you when they're in a vulnerable position. Especially when 2 other cars had no problem missing Wayne.
