Re: NASCAR I wish I could find the thread not sure if it was here or elsewhere where they had done a bunch of calculations about strength of car/pit crew and I think Larson was basically outperforming what he should have in the 42.  While I definitely want to see him run a full season on dirt (this season for all the negatives of COVID has been amazing to allow an escape for a few hours a night) I'd also love to see what he could do in top tier equipment.

I saw the stats that you are referring to and it did nothing but reinforce my opinion that KL kinda got screwed out of a couple prime years of his NASCAR career because the Chevy's were at such a mechancial disadvantage for several years.    I think one year (2018 maybe?) they had a single  bowtie win that wasn't road course or plate track.

What the actual F%$#???

Silver Crown too? Hasn't driven one in 8 years? What planet is this guy from?????

There's been a lot of talk of UFO's & aliens in the national news the last year or so. Many think it's part of some sort of 'soft disclosure' by the government.  They could be already living & racing amongst us. That's all I'm saying.

Yeah.....I'm a total non-believer in the UFO / alien thing but I got no other explanation.

In a class by himself. I don't remember for sure but I'm thinking that all of Kinser's and Wolfgang's 40 and 50+ win years were in winged sprint cars only - not winged sprint cars, midgets, and silver crown cars.

After last night, I'm ready to agree that Larson may have born in Roswell. Its an amazing thing to witness. I can't wait to see how he does in a super late model. I'd really love to see him get a shot at THE 500 if he wanted to. I don't think there is any kind of wheeled vehicle this kid can't drive well above the average racer.

Wrong.  I believe he has the right to re-enter the track as long as he does not advance his position.  Especially as the result of contact.  Also, there are guys with "Official" on their shirts all over the track and one in the flagstand.  They will take care of rule enforcment.  You can just sit back and enjoy the show.  That's the cool thing.  And when you go to work on Monday, they won't be standing over you telling you what to do.  Kinda cool

Can you imagine the people in the four wheeler as he came blasting by them. Probally shit them selves

He reigns supreme on the dirt, not so sure about pavement

" I don't think there is any kind of wheeled vehicle this kid can't drive well above the average racer." ....No doubt about that, but "above average" isn't the same as winning consistently on pavement (which I'm not interested in anyway)

Can't wait to see what he does in LMs.... are those races on PPV?

Another note on the pavement. He has 4 cup starts . 34th in points in those 4 starts he has 3 top 10s and 1 top 5. He made that 42 team look good.

We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races at Port Royal this weekend will all be on Lucas Oil Racing TV for the Yearly Subscription ($99).  But, if you plunk down for it, you get a ton of races just during Florida Speedweeks alone to make up for it, plus the mains of the Chili Bowl.  Something to consider if you're on the fence!
