Since you asked, I'd like to see a technology that is either for the car or the track, or both, that makes the chances of being killed while racing at 0%. I have no clue how to make that happen, but I would love to see somebody invent somthing. I'm sick of losing drivers every year.

Agreed. Technology has obviously improved our lives in many ways but when it comes to sprint car racing, it's made them more expensive and it's locked them down to the point where the racing suffers. It's also made modern poular music suck.

I've been thinking about this for a while....
Seems like most flips are caused by wheel over wheel contact.....one idea that most people will regard as sacrilege is to add small motorcycle style fenders like they used to use on street rods in states that required fenders. i know, its "open wheel racing". I don't like the idea either. But it could save lives. Zero % fatalities? Not likely

I'm suprised no one has mentioned about how bad a flip would be in a battery powered sprint car. If the Tesla is as dangerous in and after a crash, what would happen after a series of barrel rolls like the non winged cars get, or a crash at Knoxville where it's probably more violent than any Tesla or other electric car would ever be in?
I got to agree with the sight, smell and noise of sprint car racing, if that was gone, I would be too.
