Couldn't agree more Jim. The only people I've seen so far who have an issue with are people who won't be affected by it at all. It's no different than a kid who plays baseball and has used the #3 his whole career. He damned sure won't be using it if he gets signed by the Yankees so he'll use a different number. If there was any driver in our area deserving of such an honor, it was Greg considering the tragic accident that took him from us too soon. It's a very nice gesture and any issues that come up with it will be dealt with by the appropriate people and it won't be our problem so I don't see why anyone cares whether they agree with it or not.

Yep. The real tribute to Greg would be improving track safety. I don't have an opinion on how to do that either, but I'm sure plenty of people do.....

Baps put a gate in where Greg died. Great job BAPS. (Not sarcasm)

Williams Grove has the most dangerous spot in dirt track racing with the protruding opening in the backstretch. Where's the gate? Maybe they'll wait till someone hits it and dies before they do something about it. Water barrels is not a permanent solution.  Why do we wait for tragedy to happen until we make improvements? Its plain as day right there in clear sight and they're not doing anything about it. Why? Explain to me why in the fuck this situation is still not getting addressed. There's no excuse.
