All-star tour is going to be less based on travel and show dates. Right now the biggest cost for these owners is toter and trailer. They keep getting bigger and longer. You get past those costs, many go to the trade shows and make as many manufacturer deals as possible. Most start the season with 5 to 6 cars in various forms of completion.  Today many go to were the price is right. Motors are without question the single biggest expense for guys that travel. A new team just starting out would spend  probably close to 1 million.

Didn't there used to be some kind of deal where if you were so high in points the year before you would get a toter for the next year?  Speaking of this I heard back in the early 2000s Steve Kinser basically only had to pay for his motors and that was at a signifigantly reduced price.  From what I heard he had a deal with Maxim, Sander and so on to where he was given all this stuff.  Then at the end of the year he would sell the leftover rollers for somewhere around $10,000 a peice.  Was this true?

Murphy,   the rumor is untrue that Team 13 is splitting up.  The All Stars come into the conversation because Team 13 may just be moving on up to next level for the possible end results before we are all to OLD !!!   only the best go 4 abreast  WOO

I missed a word in there due to me having to run my own company and doing many things at the same time.  Try it some time.

I remember you!!!  You're  (notice not your) the only guy in America doing multiple things at once during the day, AND running your (not you're) own company!!!!!!

You're (not your) the man!!!!!

Can you please let me know what Mark had for breakfast this morning?

Instead of the interpretation of half-literate bumfucks like hot wind, how about the actual release?

"As of March 19th, Mark Dobmeier Racing and Jimco Motorsports have parted ways. I was informed that day that Jimco Motorsports no longer wanted to run River Cities Speedway or local tracks. They suddenly decided they wanted to take the team in a different direction and run 10-12 larger races throughout the year.

This is one of the toughest things I have gone through because the relationship dates back to when my father raced sprint cars and I sold programs out front of the Grand Forks Speedway. Jim and Cindy Senske along with Ryan and Jennie Grinde have been long time fans and supporters throughout the years.

I am heartbroken over this decision, but I have nothing but respect and gratitude for what they have helped me accomplish over the years. As of right now, I have nothing in place but a hard-working crew and the desire to win. I can’t imagine sitting a summer out without giving high fives to my younger fans and chatting with others.

I am looking forward to possible new opportunities and if anyone is interested in supporting Mark Dobmeier Racing you can contact Mark @ dobmeierracing@hotmail.com.

I want to thank the best fans in the world and the current sponsors, Polaris Industries, Acme Tools, Right Choice Electric, Senske & Son Transfer, Dahlstrom Motors, GLB Transport, Kyllo Trucking, Big Trucks By Jimco, Interstate Towing, Forx Radiator, Dobmeier Bonding, Disabled American Veterans, Boss Signs and Graphics, Great Plains Heating and Plumbing, Ron Gatheridge, Lil' D Trucking, Steffes, Anderson Brothers Body Shop, Gary Gruhot Farms, Willow Ridge, Rose Creek Tavern, and Herberg Custom Harvesting.

-Mark Dobmeier # 13"

maybe the owner of BWW 82 will reconsider selling out and fire his crew chief and hand team over to Mark. sounds like a win win situation to me.

Would love to see that.    Don't know if there's a possibility that it could happen or not.   I also wonder if he and Lunstra could get back together.   I know Lunstra shut his team down but I wonder if anything has been sold?

not a real good return on investment , like i said last fall there was talk of a breakup , I have been told the Grindes did not like RCS is   tough on equipment , got into arguments with officials etc, they  thought when they raced somewhere they ran the show , nope !   so two big sprint operations for sale ?  remember you dummies who said last fall i didnt know anything ? think again !!!   Lunstra and Mark got on the outs too , had a good deal there as was this ride nice when someone else pays for everything

I am pretty sure there is alot more to this than is being put out on social media.  Not everyone wants to air there dirty laundry for all to see.  If you think Mark was just some hired gun, you are sorely mistaken.  That much I can guarantee

Dobs is scheduled to be on Beerhill Gang TV tonight at 7:00pm EST on Facebook Live.  It will be interesting to hear what he has to say.  I really hope he can find a quality ride soon.  He is a great ambassador for the sport, not to mention he can drive the wheels off a car.

Sounds like the Jimco ride will still race this season, not sure on the schedule as that will change on what the wacky car owner decides. Im hearing the dude will be in the seat of the 97g. Should be a fun year to watch!!

If the Dude is in that car, it will be  really entertaining, to say the least.  Those personalities might not mix so well
