No matter how it goes you will be spewing negativity as soon as the last checkered flag is dropped. But of course all your info will be second hand.

With Kerry Madsen team folding wouldnt it be great to see Terry give him a ride and take Chucks money.I would guess he will be able to get a top ride as he is one of the best.$50K to win sounds good but remember Earl had a $1000000 race at Eldora. I personally like a purse structure that is a little less top heavy. But compared to what last years purses were before Badlands I would say the racers have benefited by the competition but Knoxville will always be on top.

So I agree with what you have said here but I guess you lost me with the "$50K to win sounds good but remember Earl had a $1000000 race at Eldora".
Even if Kerry doens't make it, Ian always puts on a show there. How many people would love to see Danny there in a reto "Guy Forbrook" jackpot junction kohls fowler car???
Maybe Chuck has a car set aside for Kerry??
Good thing is this time of year, some of these teams could use a decent payday!

Commen sense would say:
Meet and Greet with the drivers. In town where population is.
"House Band" is pretty darn good.
And guess what..... If people don't want to attend they don't have to.
|
Actually the house band is pretty good overall, saw them earlier this year and was kinda impressed

26 winged cars tonight
What will they have tomorrow night? 15 ??
Better add B-mods to the card for tomorrow night.
I guess he needed the WoO and NSL more than he thought he did.

No NSL, No Outlaws, and the North Dakota faithful that was taking Badlands to the promise land is nowhere to be found. $10,000 to win tonight with $50,000 to win finals and 26 cars. Maybe Chuckie will finally realize he needs to actually work with other groups instead of against them. At first thought, this thing had to potential to pull 50-60 cars. Well worth the $40 ticket price. Instead, because it's Mr Chuckie's way or the highway, looks like half the field is down the road racing elswhere or just not racing at all.

Now he can blame Knoxville, the NSL, AND the WoO. You can't expect that he will look in the mirror!

I dont think the week after the Southern lowa speedweek is a good idea. Guys probably want to take a break after all that and not go clear up there. That losing the WoO cost him a 40 car feild. Its shot now because NSL, and the WoO isnt going to give him the time of day. In this day and age you better know what your doing owning a track that runs Sprints every week or it will suck you dry.

And racing against Grand Forks probably cost BMS at least a dozen sprint cars as well. Between that & the WoO, they could have had an extra 25 cars.

Just cancelled my hotel rooms for tonite & Sunday. Really was looking forward to this show and seeing the USAC boys put on a show but with the pathetic car count last night and the overall cost of tickets and hotel along with travel I'll just stay home. Hopefully it can be planned out better next year and time heals some of the egos involved. Could be huge car counts if they could work together.
