Paid to watch the Nationals, including the A Main.  Got an Error message last 1/3 of A main.

It went from McMahan getting out of his car, 404 error for 45 seconds, refreshed and then it was one to go....

I tell it like I see it.

Very pissed!!  12 to go and gone..  Replays aren't the same thing.  $65aud + only to miss the last 10 or so..  might just fly over and watch next year,  nearly cheaper anyway ha

Had to reboot several times tonight... Then lost connection with 5 laps to go... definitely disappointed and we have great high speed internet, stream hd movies all the time with no problem

I pay to watch the race, simple. They didn't deliver the product.

While I don't disagree many of you had problems I can state that I had none and it worked without any problems. NOTE, I work as a network engineer so as you can imagine my home network is very overkill (Cisco 48 port PoE 3750 switch with a 2811 router, with Dell PowerEdge 1950 server doing all kinds of stuff etc) but I want to solicit some information from you guys that had problems. I am in no way affiliated with The Cushion, but I would hope they would read these comments. Here are my particulars.

Location: Frederick Maryland Internet Speed: (Tested via Speedtest.net)50 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up.

Internet Provider: Comcast

Jitter to thecushion.com: In your command prompt if your running a windows box type 'ping -l 1472 -f -n 10 thecushion.com'. See what your response times are in ms. I average around 15 - 17 ms

Home Connection to Provider: Ethernet (I suspect some of you are on wireless which may be part of the problem) Wireless is always half duplex (MIMO and beam forming only do so much) and wireless technologies use frequencies in the ISM bands so everything from your microwave oven to a baby monitor to a cordless phone can interfere with a wireless network.

Device Used to stream: HP Probook 450 G1 laptop

OS of Device:  Windows 10

Browser used: Firefox 40.0.2

Again not saying anybody did anything wrong but there has to be a reason why you guys had a problem but some of us didn't. If the cushion folks had an outright problem we all would be talking about it. Could be as simple as people are using wireless and the cushion folks need to buffer more for connections with high jitter. While I didn't packet capture their stream I suspect they are using UDP to stream . Just trying to help some folks out here.

I loved the broadcast. Sure it dropped off briefly in the a main but that happens sometimes but they replayed the footage that dropped out from the feed. Thanks go out to the cushion and knoxville for a great opportunity to watch the nationals live.

Cheers!

I purchased Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday and had few issues. Fast internet is a must. Wednesday we watched it at a place that didn't have the best internet. Had a lot of issues so I ran it off of a hot spot on my phone and it was great. The next two nights, we watched it at a place with a lot better internet and didnT have many issues. Lost it at the end of the A, refreshed the browser, missed two laps and it was back. Thanks to the cushion and knoxville for the opportunity to watch. the drone shots were great!
