Have you guys ever thought of the fact that it costs a lot of money & its a lot of hard work by many to bring this broadcast to you??? Why do you deserve to have it for free? Either support dirt track racing & everything that RacinBoys does to bring it to us, or sit home and pout, its your choice. "Not worth it", lmfao! $100 for 4 nights & 1 full day of the best racing anywhere, nice try fella lol!

This from the same guy who has no problem coming on this site and advertising his website that he is promoting for fantasy race leagues for $25 per team on up. I'm sure Hoseheads would like for you to buy an advertising slot on the page rather than advertising for free by just posting in the forum area. Hoseheads would love for you to pay for an ad to keep this site up and running and keep this Forum free.
I would say people are annoyed because in the past you could get the audio as an option and it was free. No pouting here, if I could listen to the audio I probably would, since not I'll check the results tomorrow and I'll be tuning into MAV on Sat. night to watch the final.

Go to hooters to watch the race for free on Saturday Night
Bet u spend about the same in Hooters or PPV for a night.
Bought dirtvision last year, kinda sucked at the beginning of the year, I think at chico, I never actually saw a 410 race alnight, although I think I saw all the support classes.
Racing isn't a charity, if u want to watch, sometimes it costs money. Never understand why someone would want to listen to any sprint car race by audio, I would rather do something else and read about it later that night, or watch a youtube replay, but I can see why others might want to listen to it.
For me, tonight was a little frustating (nothing like chico for woo) but the $ has been well spent the last two nights. I assume the chilli bowl will only get better as the weekend goes.

Last couple years, the audio only had a nominal cost (like $8 for the week). I have ordered the full package for the week. It has been great so far. A little buffering occasionally but worked good for the most part. Thankfully, I had that to watch tonight instead of the crappy Illini basketball game.
The internet PPV model is the wave of the future IMO, especially for a niche sport like racing. I am able to see the Chili Bowl where I haven't been able to see it before. It's great! Just gotta find somewhere to go Saturday night since I don't have Mav TV on Comcast.

As a member of the "Hoseheads Police" I personally have no problem with your fantasy deal and announcing of same here on the message board. I only have an issue when services are not as they seem. Barring any justifiable complaints regarding your services - you're good to go as far as I'm concerned... and I don't get concerned easily.

never understood why people would listen to the audio?............ did someone really just say that... they didnt mean it.... whats wrong with wanting to know whats going on at the given moment of a sport you so dearly love when technoligy is there... just be nice if it was utalized for the benifit of the sport... everyone wants the mighty dollar.... never looking at what the ending could be if they just gave more then they take...

The point is your on here coming down on people for wanting to get the audio stream for free and your point is that no one should think they should get anything for free, yet your advertising your for profit website for free in the forum rather than paying for an Ad like many other businesses do. Do I personally care if you posted a link to your website, NO, its when you come on and look down at others who are asking a question and talking about listening to the audio for the CB. Just sayin it looks a bit hipacritical.

Your point has been made & your correct, so I apologize for that. That was not my intent. I also agree that there should have been an audio only option, but unfortunately there wasnt. I just get frustrated when people complain that they cant see this or they cant hear that. Support the option that we do have! If you cant, well that stinks, but sometimes life stinks. Maybe next year they will offer both options due to so many asking for it. Its only the first year for this PPV, give them a chance to make it better going forward. They have worked their asses off to give us this opportunity, be grateful we have it.

How much internet data does one of the broadcasts generate? My internet provider only allows a specific amount of data to be transmitted highspeed during normal hours, then when that amount is exceeded, it slows down to dial up speed.

If they showed Sat. nite on video, I would definitely have gotten it. After missing first 2 nites, not worth it any more. NEXT YEAR, I want to go! (recovering from operation now...)

I appreciate the response Dick, and I do agree with you that it is great that RacinBoys is putting the time and money into the Video Webcast. I think that this comes up about the audio because we're use to all the WoO races audio being broadcast free, I'm not saying right or wrong as to what their doing but I think thats often what stuff is immediately compared to. I am glad their doing the video PPV though and hope they get lots of views so they can keep doing it in the future. Best wishes to you too on your racing fantasy league website as well!

I REALLY WISH mavtv WOULD ALLOW RACINBOYS TO ALLOW THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS TO VIEW THE LIVE FEED THRU THEM... we paid for this to watch it in our homes, now we have to leave and find a sports bar on a fricken saturday night...
