I don't know too many people that thought Monteith would do well. So...why do the Outlaws call them Posse if they aren't? Pittman has said himself that he is Posse, so I don't see your logic there. Same thing for Smith, but beyond that.

Regardless, you have a local group that performs very well on the porch and the top guys, Hodnett and Dewease, perform well off the porch. I see nothing wrong with that.

Nelligan is still looking for that chest to pin his JMO medal to pin it on. The only reason you aren't on tour anymore is because you wore out your welcome with constant & blatant bullshit!! Congrats on your newfound recreational sport. WII Hockey.

Lol, dang a couple of haters who feel sorry for me, thanks! You guys wish you had my life, not much has ever been better save a few health issues but they're out of my control.

I left the tour at exactly the time I told old buddy BRR I was going to and also went where I told him I was headed and retired but thanks to a crazy job offer didn't stay that way long. My stats bothered some people and a few clowns (see above) but BS wasn't involved whatsoever, reality bites and it bites dummies a bit harder.

I watched Lasoski win a Championship, Sammy win a Championship, Dave Blaney win a Championship and Donny Schatz win one also, slightly more than Mark and Steve but did see many of there wins. It was all good and all nicely profitable and memories I won't forget, this sport was berry berry good to me. Take It Easy....

Mike - I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment of Tim. He is a man on a mission, and this year his stats are pretty impressive. Won't bore you with the statistics, but needless to say winning races locally or in any sanctioning body isn't as easy as you might suspect. His stats with the All Stars are staggering, his stats with the WoO are impressive and his Nationals win was the icing on the cake. Although biased, I am certain that any winged 410 driver would love to have the success that we've had this year. Regardless of the misfortunes of others, we've proven that our team is top notch, and we hope to continue our success next year.

Seeing Tim win at Knoxville was refreshing to say the least and I don't know who wasn't happy with that result. Beating the All-Stars all year long is still not going to account for much in mine or anyone elses books either, sorry. Dale is a very good racer, he was at his best in Tim Hughes sprinter and I wonder if he'd ever had a real shot with good stuff for any length of time how he might have done with the Outlaws. I don't think it ever mattered that much to him, Dale is happy being Dale and I admire him for that. Dale will always be competitive at the Big E with anyone, the rest of the country I'm not so sure but it doesn't matter much I'm guessin' either, he marches to his own drummer.....

You don't have to go to races to see what's goin' on in the sport, for a decade there were few if any that went to more than I did, averaging over a 100 a year for that time and standing next to the track and in the pits for most of 'em. By you telling me you attend their races all the time has me feeling sorry for you more than anything, dude there are lots more important things in life to do, trust me. I care little for the sport anymore but have many good friends that do and for that reason I still come here on occasion. Sprint car racings best days are passed and only a fool thinks differently, I am pleased to have been around for the likes of Steve and Sammy and have no regrets. Some new racers would be good for the sport, in PA on the tour and even locally, I hope that it happens for those still involved.

As to valid point or whatever you are talking about all I know is that Tim won a big race, beat the Outlaws in MO and beat a worn out mostly dead series for the majority of his season, a small feat to say the least, flame all you want it doesn't change reality. I congratulated him at the time and would love to see him someday to shake his hand as well, the rest is the rest and he is smart to take their money. The Posse big dogs stay home and take it to, always have, always will, why not? Just don't make it big news with the All-Stars gig, it ain't. Take It Easy.....

Some Tim Shaffer stats and facts for 2010

WoO 1 win ,, 6 top fives,,12 top Tens,,,$47,000 earned

2010 Knoxville nats. Champion,,,earned $150,000 plus prelim money

20 plus wins in 2010 with a Allstar dominant championship Earning $50,000 plus purse money following the entire All Star tour. By far the 2010 driver of the year hands down!!! I think this speaks for itself!!!!!!!!

Janet et al, I also think has had a tremendous year and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy and team. I hate that people think I don't recognize this season Tim had but I will never change my thoughts about what it is to beat the All-Stars like a rented mule, regularly, sorry. My views about winning 'locally' have never changed and won't and I don't recognize the All-Stars as a touring group as they were in their prime with Bert and Mrs. B. All the best to your folks next year, Take It Easy...

Pittman saying he's Posse is like Sammy saying he's not an Outlaw, hearing it just doesn't sound right. But even if you're willing to buy in to an Oklahoma guy who lives in Indiana who runs the PA circuit only because he can't get a top flight Outlaw ride a member of the PA Posse, it was still a poor showing overall. Only 3 guys made it in either A main, out of the 10 or so that made the trip. I have a feeling that if the Outlaws brought 10 guys to the Grove, qualified only 3 with 2 top 5's, the cheerleaders would still be crowing about it. Just sayin.............

Attica two years ago and Lima this year, Mike? So much for your one track wonder theory once again...

Video evidence of your "superior" california locals(one in an outlaw ride and another in a local Ohio ride) getting their ass handed to them in the Buckeye state by some guys that started in the back of the line up. Shaffer started 13th and Reed started 15th.

Dale is a former W of O winner and on any given night.....

You ever remember where his first W of O win was, I doubt it? It was at one of the smallest tracks the Outlaws raced on, Farmer City IL and I was happy to be there that night. Dale is a quality plus guy, on top of being an above average shoe.

As to your local boys having a good night, please see the above, on any given night....Any OH guys join the tour lately and tear it up, I didn't think so....

Let it go Dude, the All-Stars are a shadow of their former selves, end of story, move on. Take It Easy.....

I'm not talking about the allstars, dumbass. Where did I mention them?

You're superior california locals have been getting their ass' kicked when they come around here lately. That was my point and I've never changed the story.

First, you say that DB is only a threat at Eldora, then you say that he's a WoO winner on any given night? Got a future in politics, maybe? Every time I blow holes in your story you dance around it. Priceless.

They lose a race moron, big deal. I'll take TK, Meyers and Paul McMahan against any of your locals at any track, any day of the week and I'll make you look like the fool you are. The All-Star comment is relative to you telling me how great it is that Tim beat them all year, hell I can't even bother to look it back up, lol. Dale is a big threat to win every night at Eldora, maybe you're not smart enough to know this, just trying to help ya'. He, like many others who have toured can win on any given night, it's the way that racing works, can't you figure that out either? I'm starting to understand you're blue dumb thing now, lol. Take It Easy....

I know quite well that Dale is a threat to win on any given night. I still go to the track and witness it for myself, you see. I'm beggining to understand why you'd rather go see a movie than a race.

Also, you're admitting that I'm right since you changed your story to agree with one of my original points. You're just too stupid and bull headed to admit it.

Let's try another slant on this since you brought up "the tour". The very first point that I made in this thread is that the best locals are most likely from Indiana. Let's look at the top twenty all time a-main winners list for the Circus. I'll go back to the top 23 since I have to go back that far on the list to get atleast 2 drivers from the left coast on the list.

Cali: 2 drivers in the top 23 with Meyers just now approaching the top 10 in the list. The other is Tim Green with 9.

Indiana: 3 drivers in the top 10, alone. (Kinser, Kinser and Saldana)

Ohio: 4 drivers on the list. Including Brad at 21st despite an extremely shortened career. (Blaney, Haud, Ferkel and Doty)

PA: 3 drivers on the list. (Smith, Allen and Kreitz)

And finally, to address your "challenge" that you'll take my locals against the 3 that you mentioned at any track. It's already happened at Lima and Attica the last two years and my guys won. What ya got now?

Okay, bring you Ohio boys out to Chico or Tulare and we will see how they do.

This argument is rediculous. Sorta like the Posse thing. Frown

Most drivers do very well on their home tracks. Look recently. Balog, whom I don't know much about, but I have heard he is the IRA big man. Well, he went to N.C. and I don't think he impressed too many people. However, that doesn't make him a bad driver by any means.

I wouldn't really consider Charlotte a good barometer of how someone does off the porch. The track was terrible and there was minimal passing.

If that ever happened I'd damn well expect your boys to protect their turf, Leon. The fact is that a highly touted driver from your state came out here this year on a non sanctioned night with far superior equipment than most, if not all of our regulars and got it handed to him. The prevailing mind set of most that post in here is that TK could clean the floor with anybody he goes against if he had this and that blah blah blah...

How many chances does he get? He was in the second Kinser ride a few years ago and did very well. Infact, he came out here and kicked our guy's collective ass' that year. Then he comes back in another WoO ride and has the race practically given to him and got rocked by a couple of guys that started SEVERAL ROWS behind him yet, we're supposed to accept the assertion from some guy that sits at his computer and doesn't even bother to go see a race that our locals are somehow inferior. Bullshit!!!

Give Lee Jacobs, Craig Mintz or Brian Sebetto(just to name a few) that kind of equipment and watch them shock the world. Hell, give it to Chad Kemenah who's only struggling because he's funding his own operation that kind of equipment and let's see what happens.

I guess it's just to easy to ignore our guys, though. Everyone can keep picking and choosing what facts they want.

Still clueless and in so many ways, dang. TK did not have far superior equipment, he had mostly worn out stuff from the couple times I chatted with him this year but who cares. If you're foolish enough to think a couple of your locals can beat a guy who won the most races on the NST tour a few years ago, dream on.

I used to drive 187 miles (one way) every Friday night to your beloved Attica for a few years when Gene Frankart ran the place (better than anyone before or after) back in the early 90's. I was a regular at Millstream when they ran Sundays and went to Lima and Fremont often when Ken the tire guy ran all 3 of them. You were probably still in your diapers back then but ask somebody about the good ol' days. You're an Ohio cheerleader, no different than a few of the PA ones who are blind to the rest of the sprint car world and your silly statements reflect this.

Who cares over the history of the Outlaws about what CA has done, I am talking today as you were when you were whining about Tim etc. I shouldn't even respond to your junk, grow up, see the sprint car world and then, maybe, you can talk on some level other than 'cheerleader, local guy'. Take It Easy....

Mike, you seem to constantly change your storyline depending on what suits your spin. In this post, you are claiming who cares about the history of the Outlaws. In previous posts, you cherrypick results from 10 years ago or 20 years ago.
